Someone posted or I read that they have laws simuliar to the sunshine laws there....If he confesses will they still release any evidence they have??

And an awful lot more besides her fingerprints. There must be evidence that the computer was actually started up during that time when he murdered her. Maybe during the time when he got coffee etc. etc.
I have an uneasy feeling that he is trying to get out of murder and hope to get homicide. With all the apparent slam dunk evidence, actually a smart move. Wonder if somebody is advising him already.
 
Yeah well... using his laptop without permission is hardly an excuse for breaking someone's neck and clubbing them until they lose an eye.
So what if she found out about the Natalie case? He could've just told her to leave if she didn't like it... know what I mean?
I think his MO was to lure here there, get jiggy and then rob her of her poker winnings.
He KNEW what he was gonna do from the moment they stepped foot in the door.

Foolishly he implicates himself once again in Natalee's case and I would also suspect that when analyzed his computer will show emails and the like of his attempted shakedown of Beth....but will we actually get any serious info that will lead to understanding what really happened to Natalee?

I am thinking that while there may be info on his PC about trying to get money from Beth I bet there is nothing actually implicating him in NH's death. Surely he wouldn't be that stupid to ever put that in writing anywhere.

As for fingerprints of SF on the pc, there may be actually some there if he showed it to her or he could say he wiped it down afterwards. The key will be it there was any activity on it in the time he was gone to the store. I assuming that can be determined.
 
I must admit I know little of the Peruvian culture. I would assume that in some of the Middle East cultures where women are treated as chattel that JVDS's explanation of her invading his privacy might a gain him a little lighter sentence but would that work in Peru?
 
Does the hardrive record information by time and date?
Isn't that how the determined the chloroform seaches prior to Caylee's death on Caseys computer?

Can't remember if they got times but I think they got dates. But of course if he was already thinking of using this excuse he could have done the searches himself before he left the room. Then again if he did come up with this idea before leaving he is a lot colder and smarter than we all think.

Personally I think he is a lot like KC, if one story doesn't work he will try another and not think twice about it.

I don't believe for a minute that Joran flew into a rage and killed Stephany because she googled his name on the laptop. This is a complete lie and a stupid lie at that. He just didn't want to admit to killing her in a rage because she resisted his sexual advances. I wonder if she was raped and that information has not yet been released, perhaps in deference to her family. I used to think that NH died of a drug/alcohol interaction, but I now think that he raped her also and then had to kill her and get rid of the body. I hope the Peruvian police use their vast powers of persuasion to get him to admit the real truth.

Joran pulled up the info on the Internet about himself. He pulled it up to impress her, to scare her, to get her reaction. He is arrogant, a braggart. He got a perverted thrill out of exposing who he really is.

She probably asked him, "Is it true? Did you kill that girl?". He says, "Yes". By the way he is acting, she believes him. He succeeds in scaring her (the very reaction he was hoping for, on the 5th anniversary of Natalee's murder).

She feels panicked, and heads for the door. Her fear excites him. He is not about to let her leave. In Joran's mind, it is 'Game On'!

She heads for the door. He reaches for the tennis racket. She reaches for the door knob. He slams the tennis racket into the back of her head and neck. She falls to the floor, he is immediately on top of her, slamming his fist into her face and head...

If she saw anything about Joran van der Sloot on the Internet that night, it is because he pulled up the information.

This is almost exactly the scenario I pictured if in fact she ever did see anything on the internet...

From what I saw on NG Stephany was (perhaps) on her period... Google her transcripts form last night... I do not know how anyone else might feel... but IMO... the first time I was with a guy I would not want to be having my "time of the month" he probably thought she was lying and lost control MOO!

IMO I do not believe he "raped" her and then pulled her red panties up along with her sanitary napkin... to her waist before killing her and leaving her there...

IMO he found out she was not lying and killed her on the spot cause it was already too late to say I am sorry....
all MOO!!!

ETA: Have we ever heard if it was Natalee's time of the month in May 2005? Never heard it mentioned but I bet Beth knows....maybe that is what sets him off?
 
I think five years to the date after Natalee... there was something more than a google search or a period that set him off. IMHOO there's more sickness to this than the average person, I included; could possibly understand.

Stephany by earlier accounts was an out-lesbian and would not have accompanied Joran back to his hotel room for a sexual encounter. Being that he brought the laptop into his confession, I think that maybe she went to the room to see his laptop, or perhaps purchase it from him. I can very easily see Joran replace her panties because he would never ever want anyone to think that he raped her.
 
Was there any activities planned for early Sunday at the casino that she may have wanted to attend and was just killing time?

And I also thought I heard she was a lesbian...(which is fine by me!... for anyone that cares...) and if he knew that.... this whole thing makes me even more angry! maybe she was gonna buy the laptop... but he had other plans?
 
I thought I heard on the JVM or NG show tonight that a white woman's purse was found in Joran's room. This was not Stephany's because she was not carrying it on the video. I wonder if Joran was also keeping himself flush with cash by stealing purses. Did anyone else hear this?
