Would a possible scenario be that CWW didn't tell JR whose house they were driving to FL to break in and murder?

I considered that, and while it's possible, it's not likely IMO. CWW didn't hire an anonymous hitman through the internet, he choose someone he hangs out with a lot. MS being CWW's best friend would also have talked and probably hung out with JR while in town, so JR knew who MS was.

While JR was in the house waiting for TS, surely he would have noticed pictures of MS with his wife and kids, and maybe plaques or documents with her name on them.

In any event, the murder was well publicized, so he would have known exactly who he killed, if not before, then after, and linked it to his good buddy's best friend.

Possible he wasn't told prior to yes, but as Nin pointed out it's unlikely he wouldn't have figured it out in the interim time between the crime and when arrested.

We have been discussing height of CWW and MS a lot, and in some pics, it looked as if they were about the same height, but these wedding pics show that MS is taller than CWW.

There is one pic of CWW and MS together, and unless CWW is standing in a ditch, it clearly shows he is a few inches taller than CWW. I'm having problems copying the pictures over, or I would include it (there is one on page 3).

Also, another picture of MS and JR, shows that MS is a bit taller than JR. One of JR's mug shots shows that he is about a couple of inches short of 6ft, so I'm going to estimate that MS is around 5'11 or 6.0ft.

I saw that as well in one of the pics with JR but if you look MS is actually standing in a raised flower/shrub bed in that picture so I'm guessing they are actually about the same height

Per his atty, he said he didn't know those people in FL. Plural. Along with TS who else would the "those people" be other than her husband?

For me: that MS and JR have met before AND how close in appearance MS and CWW look incase of any switched identity shenanigans. I see a very clear difference in their side views, not so much in their forward views. I can see where someone who didn't know them would be confused. I am not sure I believe the neighbor's account of seeing MS at JR's trailer. I do recall reading the article about FL plates on the car, but I'm not sure I'm totally buying it. If it was a FL plate AND the make and model of MS's car I would be more convinced. Even if it was a rental car I might put a bit more weight into the neighbor's claim. But as of now, I'm not entirely convinced.

Personally , I would hesitate to believe anything JR said.
I think it is to his benefit not to admit knowing them, if in fact he does.
I would be more interested in knowing MS's answer to the question.. does he know JR

I think everyone here would agree with that sentiment of not believing anything JR would say, but there's a big difference in assuming one is not truthful and proving one is not being truthful and that's why the pictures are of importance.

Of course we haven't heard from MS one way or the other, modus operandi continues

I am not disputing the importance of the pictures.
I feel they are very helpful

I don't know. Could be many people in Florida involved in this. I don't have inside information. It just seems to me if he was talking about TS and MS specifically he would have said "JR doesn't know the Sievers"

IMO "those people" couldn't possibly refer to anyone else but the Sievers so it's semantics I guess.

I get where you are coming from CoolJ. Even before this thread started I was thinking typical defense lawyer talk... misleading but accurate (kinda like Clinton saying "I did not have sex with that woman" and the resulting legal battle on what sex meant)

I tend to agree with you. He did not *know* those people in Florida. He may have met (and or "known") MS, but perhaps this statement was indeed truthful in the entire essence... in that he did not know BOTH of them.... "those people". Getting down to cutting hairs... a definition of "know" is

You guys are amazing! I have no doubt in my mind who the people in the photos are. The most telling (and chilling) one for me was the one with CWW and MS standing beside each other across from JR. No way he can deny (or cause doubt) who was who b/c they were both in the photo. Great work everyone!

I'm going out on a limb and against the popular conclusion and say the photo of the man speaking to MS at the wedding is not JR. I say this because I read an article that had pictures posted of JR, JR's girlfriend and CWW which were taken from JR's girlfriend's facebook page, according to the article the pictures were posted the end of May and the beginning of June 2015. Of those photos, JR has the same length hair as in his booking photo but the photo of the guy at the wedding has very short hair and I don't think JR's hair would grow that fast (that is of course if the photos from JR's girlfriends facebook page were posted shortly after being taken and I'm going to assume they were posted at the same time they were taken because that's what most people do).
