IF CPH was involved, I belive he could have been the person JB and SG visted earlier that night without leaving Oak Beach, probably to get drugs?

Probably got a prescription from him, called CVS to see if they could go fill it, CVS was closed so they couldnt fill it. I would love to see CPHs prescription history.

If that is the case I bet he also gave/administered something to SG that he knew would cause a traumatic event/overdose.

I also think that it is possible that the reason SG was brought to OB in the first place by JB was to bring her to CPH. JB may have been nothing more than a pawn to manipulative SK.

After watching Dormer's riduculous interview when he speculated ( before the ME even had a chance to cart the remains in for examination ) that somehow Shannan's pants fell off and that she probably drowned as she was running away from someone she found threatening, I thought to myself, "self, he really can't be that much of an idiot." And the more other members of LE supported that outcome, and with a straight face I might add, I thought again, "self, maybe they are putting on an act to make it appear that they are that stupid, in an attempt to keep the real "actors" from fleeing the country. Then Hawk flies in and somehow gets me to question my naive understanding of how SCPD may operate.
I hope they are neither stupid nor corrupt, but just some really bad actors with less than perfect timing giving out their lines. The former is just as frightening as knowing there are serial killers out there.

If MP skips out , the SCPD will have themselves to blame, as they appeared to exonerate MP a long time ago.

If what Hawk and others say is true about the corruption in the SCPD, maybe the SCPD will drive MP to the airport to ensure he leaves the country safely.

Again I am so proud and so supportive of MG and John Ray, to take this courageous step in filing the suit.

You are 100% right. GC and Miss B. called the police. Why didnt CPH? He said it was to late for her. What the hell does that mean? He lied from the beginning. Maybe he got SG mothers phone number from her phone and never handed her over to Pak. He might have been doing damage control early on so he doenst have to cover his but later on in the event her body was recovered. What will Pak say about this?

ITA! You sparked a thought. I believe in the first few days, CPH was doing damage control.

I'll play devil's advocate and say CPH never called Mari until after MP and AD happened to bump into CPH. He gets MG's number, he gets SG's name (assuming he never knew it), and gets MP's name. Up until SG, I don't believe any missing women's families came knocking on doors at Oak Beach. His damage control is getting SG's family and friends out of his neighborhood by saying he treated her (which is against the law to even divulge that info since SG was over 18), and she left with her driver. He gives the "narcotics" or "sedatives" story in case her body is found shortly after. That's purely speculation.

If I forget all the hype about the doctor and the fact that he definately makes a more colorful POI. I keep coming back to MP. SG was running from HIM. HE was the last person KNOWN to have seen her alive. Occams razor states that..." among competing hypotheses, the one that makes the fewest assumptions should be selected."

SG running from MP makes NO assumptions. She did run from him and continued to run from him. She either ran to her death in the marsh from the elements or MP finally caught up with her and killed her. I'm off the fence. I basically just got off the fence but ultimately this is what I believe happened to SG. When it boils down to the basics SG was afraid of MP. IMO

SG was afraid of MP and perhaps AD or someone else she was working with/for. That's why she didn't want to leave JB's house. That's why when he started to tell her to leave she called the cops. That's why when the cops didn't come after 23 min. she bolted out of JBs house and past MP and AWAY from MP! She was afraid of MP. It makes perfect sense. It is the simplest most obvious explanation. I have explored ALL the other theories put forth. I've been open to them. I can finally say with conviction that this is what I believe.

Did he chase her all the way through the marsh to where she was found or did he meet up with her out on ocean pkwy? Either way it would have took some time to accomplish and with the sun well on its way above the horizon there were no reports of his vehicle hanging around or parked in the area in the time it would've took for those scenarios to work out, not to mention scpd arriving around the same time. Perhaps he caught up to her where her belongings were found he then would've had to back track a hundred yards (by the way is he carrying her at this point or is she going along both willing and silent) to get back to anchor way. seems to me someone would have seen or heard something if it went down like that and again no reports of his vehicle being parked up for the time it would've taken to accomplish such a task in my opinion.

Has he? I mean has he been cleared? They must not have the evidence they need to convict. He certainly isn't going to confess.

I can only answer those questions with a bunch of maybes. The only things I know to be true and factual are that SG was running from MP and MP was the last person to see her alive according to a witness GC.

Perhaps he is their key POI and they simply are giving him a long enough rope to hang himself on his own.

With that in mind, we know that SG & MP had an argument that evening. We know this directly from MP. She wanted him to go to CVS on Montauk Highway in West Islip to purchase playing cards and personal lubricant. He wanted to stay in Oak Beach. They exchanged several phone calls and text messages back and forth quarreling about it. Then when MP was summoned by JB to come into JB's house to retrieve SG we know from MP's own words that SG was confrontational with both of them and resisted leaving. I repeat RESISTED LEAVING.

She had no interest to leave JB's house with MP. So much so that JB had to grab her from behind in an attempt to carry her out of his house.

When she did leave JB's RUNNING there was never any mention of JB chasing after her. But MP got in his vehicle and chased her down the road. She was running and SCREAMING as she ran from MP.
