What did he do to a bird? I looked upthread and couldn't find this answer.

That story is contained in this article

http://www.thedailybeast.com/articl...ns-tortured-pets-as-a-teen-neighbor-says.html

..........................

Then Henderson told a somewhat disturbing story.

“He asked me to come in and see his pet bird, so I went in their house. He had a parakeet and he had that bird crawl from the cage and on to his finger. Then he slapped the bird as hard as he could with his other hand, and the bird was lying on the floor. The bird looked dead to me. I looked at him and his was smiling and laughing as he looked at me and that bird.”

“Hey, animals don’t make you weird like that,” Henderson said. “He was that way before he got that bird. Heard he used to torture other pets he had. He was like that from the time I first met him.”

Re-watched this video (Video #1). Toward the end is where he states location and declaration where he supposedly has "people".

Here is a screen cap of the first location which is 108 & Cedar. He states an abandoned house in this area?

Next he mentions a the church is off 80 Road? No luck so far in my search for Purple & Gold Churches in the Cleveland area. Can't find an 80 Road. There is one church I can find on 80th Street? It is St. Lawrence Church which is permanently closed. Again he says there is an abandoned house there.

Last he says 42nd & Payne. He has somebody there. As far as I could see there is No such things as a 42nd & Payne? Lying?

Lying or he's bad with directions. Yeah, it's likely there are abandoned buildings in that 108th & Cedar area. Some of these neighborhoods were hit hard by the subprime mortgage/house flipping scam back a few years ago. Scammy people from out of state were buying properties on Ebay, etc. to flip. All were foreclosed, absentee owners disappeared, houses sit empty. It's possible these are the locations that FBI and US Marshalls are checking on.

ETA: Hopefully no amateur sleuths are wanting to go to visit any of these locations. These are in some pretty rough neighborhoods and even more dangerous with lots of feds and local LE roaming around.

Agreed. And perhaps he is a nice guy. People have mental breakdowns. Everyone so far has said he was a nice guy. If a family member of mine did something like this, I wouldn't say they were a . If all my life they were nice, then snapped, it doesn't automatically make that person a . Jmo.

When people have mental breakdowns, they're filled with overwhelming anxiety, experience an episode of severe depression, and/or experience severe withdrawal which can sometimes be dissociation. They don't suddenly become a manipulative, homicidal sociopath. SS isn't experiencing an emotional breakdown. He's exhibiting characteristics of his personality disorders, symptoms of drug abuse, and/or symptoms of a untreated mood disorder.

To be far, we do not know the facts of what he is showing. Who mentioned he used drugs?

I agree with everything you said...because it's rational. But can someone with clearly irrational behavior and a gambling addiction resist the temptation? I wonder.

Probably not- isn't the thinking "I'm down to 50$, betcha I can quick turn it into $100" 99% of the problem with gambling addictions? He could lay low for a while until he thinks the heat is off and then I'm sure he thinks he can pop into one quickly? There also one on I86/17 as I'm heading to NJ/NYC thru Southern Tier of NY/northeast Pa-- Tioga?? it's on the westbound side of 86/17 pre-Binghamton. I also stand corrected; ran the temp plate question passed one of my NY State Troopers out of Catt Co---- temp plates can be entered and will scan.

Yes, Unfortunately I've had to deal with a few people with mental disorders. :liar: Very frustrating to say the least.

Police providing extra security in Twinsburg, OH, last known address of SS

http://www.news5cleveland.com/news/...-seen-before-murder?google_editors_picks=true

He had been living with his ex-girlfriend in an apartment complex there just prior to him being kicked out and going on his rampage. A boy who lived next door saw him outside on the day before the murder of Mr. Godwin. Said he was walking around outside, angry and agitated. Police searched the apartment and found weapons.

They're posting security around schools and other public places in case he returns to the area. Twinsburg is a very nice suburb southeast of Cleveland.

There seems to be some confusion so I'm just clearing something up. The video of the killing itself was NOT livestreamed on Facebook Live. Every other video you saw was. The video of Mr. Godwin being taken was previously recorded and then posted to his account, as claimed in the statement by Facebook.

We can ascertain a lot of what he is "showing" by observing video he posted. Sh We can substitute showing for behaving and thinking and we would IMO be pretty accurate in doing so.

The same thing might be said if we stated he is suffering from addictive illness as opposed to using the word drugs, and in the same context be reasonable in doing so.

The premises mentioned were, however, IMO reasonable

IMO because of pop culture IMO there is a widespread notion that "addiction" is "different. The reality is the term "addiction " is like the term "ice cream". While the truth is in terms of processes drug, sex, food, gambling addictions" have more in common with one another than not.

Same way ice is ice cream but chocolate and strawberry and vanilla are different but are all ice cream.

Does not matter if it is drug or gambling.

I used this analogy in treatment. If you are looking at the clock and it noon.

noon the person is in a reasonable state

at 2 the thinking about gambling starts

4 wanting to do so is causing an uncomfortable feeling state

6 anxiety is increasing the anxiety mounting and the want to rid oneself of the inner anxiety builds

8 Focus shifts from trying not gamble to be making arrangements to get to the casino

10 in the casino anxiety decreasing

11 remorse sets in but the anxiety has been discharged by gambling

12 start over

one change a drink, a plate of food, sex etc same cycle.

He has acknowledged he is addicted to gambling- so the reality is , if he is alive monitoring casinos is probably a really good idea.

The clock often goes faster and more intense if stressed increasingly depressed etc etc

I find the "Steve really is a nice guy" part to be in poor taste considering the circumstances, moo.

Sorry, rubs me the wrong way. I do feel for her and it's great she sent her prayers to the family but IMO she should have left that part out about him really being a nice guy. Don't everyone throw stones at me. Moo.

It does seem a bit much at this point in time to be referring to her ex, SS, as a " nice guy " but considering that she has children and SS is still on the loose, it might just be a smart, calculated thing to say about him.
imo, speculation.

I suspect Law Enforcement consulted on that statement, maybe even asked her to say it. Ditto with Godwin's family saying they "forgive" him. I think it was strategic, especially after family disowning him publically.

What did he do to a bird? I looked upthread and couldn't find this answer.

http://nypost.com/2017/04/17/facebo...gedly-shares-eerie-trait-with-serial-killers/
Steve Stephens, 37, reportedly took his anger out on his pet parakeet while growing up, as well as other creatures that his family owned throughout his childhood.

He ultimately shares an eerie similarity with serial killers, such as Jeffrey Dahmer and “Boston Strangler” Albert DeSalvo, who also abused their pets as youngsters.

“That kid was not normal as we as normal people know it from the beginning,” longtime neighbor Tony Henderson told the Daily Beast on Monday.
Henderson claimed he knew for sure that something was wrong with Stephens mentally after he watched him pummel his parakeet without remorse one day.

“He asked me to come in and see his pet bird, so I went in their house,” Henderson recalled. “He had a parakeet and he had that bird crawl from the cage and onto his finger. Then he slapped the bird as hard as he could with his other hand, and the bird was lying on the floor. The bird looked dead to me. I looked at him and he was smiling and laughing as he looked at me and that bird.”

Hey, animals don’t make you weird like that,” Henderson said. “[Stephens] was that way before he got that bird. Heard he used to torture other pets he had. He was like that from the time I first met him.”

From your link he used that mailing address for 15 years- does that mean she moved in with him??

Finding weapons inside is a mixed message no? If I was planning on killing people I would take weapons with me not leave them there?

Bizarre that his boss, co-workers, friends, GF, fraternity, all said he was a really nice guy with a heart. This is a first usually they are loners or showed other strange behavior. His bowling, fishing, and other videos he appears to be happy and friendly, not weird. This is not the norm.

I respectfully disagree that this is not the norm ( for someone with a well concealed mental illness). I speak from experience. My ex-husband appeared to be the perfectly normal upstanding middle class citizen, until I left him. No one knew the strange behavior I began to notice at home, that eventually terrified me enough to take my 4 year old son and leave. He could not reconcile in his head why anyone would leave HIM. He was perfect and every bad thing that happened was everyone else's fault. There were two instances where guns were involved. One pulled on me when I walked into my backyard. No idea how i escaped that one. And another where he took a gun into a sanctuary type place that I frequented, and from what I understand, intended to shoot up the place, but was interrupted before anything bad could happen. All the stalking and threatening and bullying of those close to me happened after I left him. I even tried to take the blame for the break-up, so that he would legitimately have someone to blame. He needed me and my son to validate him. It's like we were his only way to identify himself.

Below is containing a link a copy of the FB Live video (Video# 3) that contains the comments from others that were coming in as he was streaming.

Wow just WOW

ty very much for this .

I know nothing about FB. I so wanted to see what on earth were people on FB doing during this.

Astounding.

He did appear to have people that knew and cared about him.

Technical stuff:

What does someone do to notify FB?

What would keep someone on FB from calling LE?

I suppose what you say ? I would think in this day and age LE would take it for real.

I now understand more tho that he was reading this while he was driving I thought he was talking to people on the phone!

So you guys with your cell phones can do this on FB if it has a camera?

Are live feeds instantly traceable?
