Scraped the entire post...made many mistakes.

Odd things about the jeans...size 16 in women's is not tiny. I misread his height as 5'3" not 5'5", but only 90 lbs(seems that they only found 90's lbs of him?)? He's short for a guy but not for a woman, so the jeans would have looked like the intended 3/4 or capri length but with a huge waist? That I do not get. Why wear short pants in December? Was he re-dressed? The case file says nothing about a shirt/jacket and only partial remains seems like there is a lot more info they are leaving out on purpose.

At 5' 4" or 5' 5" and 90 lbs, it is possible that the size 16 is actually a female teen clothing size, and not actually womans. From personal experience, when your severely underweight size 0 woman's will be loose around your waist.

I'm not quite following you here, did you intend to mention Davis Park thrice? Anywho welcome and thanks for sharing your thoughts. According to the only article I've seen that a poster was kind enough to post it says the legs were found on the bay side about a mile west of Davis Park. That article is in her thread. That's about 12 miles from the RMC bridge and about 3.5 strait across from the north shore of the bay. I'm thinking someone with knowledge of how the tides work there combined with the estimated time the remains had been dismembered (not that long) it looks like they could come up with a good guess as to where they were dumped from.

Maybe these last few pages can get moved to hodgepodge or something. Some good discussion but slightly off topic. Not that I'm trying to police the thread or anything.

My submission for Holly Anne Painter http://www.doenetwork.org/cases/1509dfon.html did not pass the Doe Network panel because of circumstances. I agree with that decision as it is unlikely she would have suddenly gone to NY and worked in the sex industry. A few new thoughts on FIJD:

1) Her torso was never found -she could have been pregnant. Many of us have thought that the father of Peaches child is the killer of Peaches and The Toddler. FIJD could be a similar story.

2) There is something about the sketch of her that to me has a Slavic or Eastern European appearance. Obviously this isn't her because of the timing but I'm thinking FIJD might have been someone with similar circumstances https://www.findthemissing.org/en/cases/15119/9

Yes this does happen on Long Island. And they do housekeeing during the summer months.

I'm not sure if that torso is FIJD's or not but I do think that it, along with these two could be more LISK victims:

I am very interested in these torsos. The '88 and '00 cases were both torsos wrapped in plastic (like Manorville Jane Doe and Jessica Taylor's torsos). I find it curious that there is DNA for the '88 one but not the '90 one. I would really hope that since there is DNA for the '00 case it would have been compared to FIJD but who knows.

The '00 one & the '90 one are both found in the Rockaways. I think the Rockaways could definitely be another dumping ground for LISK/Manorville Butcher.

This victim has now been removed from Namus. Could an identification have been made or could this have been matched up to Fire Island Jane Doe? Anyway for us to find out?
