If you look really close I think I see a white line on the sneaker or shoe which goes from about the center bottom area of the foot and angles back upwards toward her pantleg on an angle.

So whatever type of shoe it is then it means there was a white stripe that runs diagonally in that area.

ETA: looking closer at the blown up image and the white marks may just be discollerations in the picture itself. So not sure it is anything. We can disregard my comment unless someone thinks those white marks are behind the sock.

In that photo, you can see the little nubs/eyelets for the laces.

I'm not sure why it would matter if Travis saw that Jodi was wearing shoes with socks over. What could he have done about it? She has him cornered in a shower? And the weapons may have just been lying out on the vanity.

To me, when rotated, it looks even more like a foot in a shoe with a sock over it! I can make out the bumps where the laces are.

The shoes are likely hightops: that's why the outline of a low-cut shoe isn't there. The size of that black object draped over by the pant leg is also about right for Jodi's foot. Since her hands are gigantic, I would bet her feet are on the large side. If those tiles are 12", we could probably get a fairly accurate measurement.

I think we need to have someone take a photo of something like this....

I think the tiles are 18x18, judging by the measurement of the closet door which is apparently 24" and the windows a fraction over 22". JA's Airwalk shoebox said size 9, though that translates to approximately 10" in real length.

This is far fetched, but is it possible....JM said the felon almost got away with the murder, the felon said mark my words no one will convict me, the felon murders TA, his camera is found with pictures in the washer, the felon stays for some time cleaning up...she has time to take more pictures, as a trophy, maybe a few pieces of TA clothes no one misses. Remember she thinks she is smarter then all, so she would want trophies. Who would know she is smart.

The felon leaves, takes the gun, the knife and maybe a taser (for those who think she used one), plus all this: Three gas cans, floor mats for the car, her clothing, shoes, toiletry articles an anything else she brought that day.

The felon drives and is late an ENTIRE day to meet up with another 'friend'.

Now rememeber this is preplanned...she had days, weeks, months to plan the murder. I think the murder seed was there a lot longer then we know. No one know her where abouts every day during these months the felons anger is building, the felon may have done a dry run of sorts, really studied the route, at least to an area where she could have stashed the trophies.

I am thinking, in the day she traveled and was late seeing her friend, she did stop to get rid of anything bloody, but I think she had another camera and took pictures after the murder as a memory....the trophies, pictures and anything TA related, are buried somewhere along the route for her to retrieve later....because she really thought he was 'home free'.

With the fact she had another gun and knives ready to leave again and probably going to kill..she woul want more trophies, (and I think it was Mimi and Deanna both next on the hit list)....I know BTK, here in Wichita, and other murders had lots of trophies. I bet the felon did too. Maybe one day a biker, hiker, builder, someone, will find these things. I just cannot see the felon destroying everything and not have extra pictures to look at again and again to boost her ego.

Yes, yes, YES! I totally believe this is more than possible. She had plenty of time to stash her "trophies." We all have learned how devious and manipulative she is. I too have wondered if someday a hiker will come across her hiding spot?

Lol if you google "airwalk shoes 2008" there's quite the variety to choose from... the only pics of her shoes I could find that might fit the bill is the one of her with the dog, allegedly taken sometime in April/May 2008 iirc.

I think she finally shot him because she was pissed. Travis had the nerve to try and defend himself, tried to grab her knife, tried to run for help. He was SUPPOSED to die in the shower. A few stabs, blood flowing neatly down the shower drain. Now look what he's done. He got blood EVERYWHERE. And lots of it. The tile floor, the sink, the mirror, the walls. He even bled on the carpet. No way she can fix that. He even made her cut her own hand. Now her blood is there too. She dragged him all the way back down the hall. Not easy. He's 189#. She's mad. By the sink she shoots him in the head and gets enough adrenaline pumping again to put him back into the shower where he was SUPPOSED to die in the first place

This theory rings true to me.

Heh... I decided to re-listen to Daryls testimony, and Gus Searcy is up first on the youtube version I am currently listening to.
He's so gross, talking about how it's like the Superbowl, being invited to the PPL formal event, and how exciting it is for the women, that they GET to dress up, and the men HAVE to dress up, so it works out nicely for the women. Barf.

I loved the way Juan totally negated his purpose for being called, so that the defense started out extra pointlessly. I don't think Nurmi did any research on his opponent. At all.

I relistened a while back as well. Barf is right. Gus went on and on.. Compared being asked to PPL event to being invited to the White House... Acted like a woman wearing a long dress is her biggest dream come true. So full of himself.

I knew that Nurmi's book wasn't very well edited, but I couldn't believe some of the blatant errors I was reading, e.g., calling JA's grandpa "Sunny" rather than "Sonny." Also, few paragraph breaks and very little punctuation.

As if we needed more proof that those folks are less than Mensa material. Still... how is it that their "leader" is as smart as Einstein, and they're so... not?

Sorry... to answer my own question, it actually makes perfect sense. :/

Jodi is back in my vent, and downstairs is one lifer and two DP, we call it a 4 pack because we share the vent and can talk via the vents.

After Jodi’s last media ordeal, they pulled her up front to see the Warden Frigo (I can’t even get her to respond to a kite) and they shook the entire C-Pod with dogs and we each had to walk through the metal detector . As Jodi was up front, they tossed her room looking for a cell phone, of course if they would of checked their phone system 1st, they would of saved themselves a lot of trouble knowing the call came from DOC!

Then Jodi went to the office and was asking to be able to get her hair cut by another inmate which is normal but CO4 (name redacted) said "no" so Jodi called her a cocblocker to the CO3 (redacted name) that was the liason in the haircut issue, he went back to CO4 (I redacted name) and told her what Jodi called her, so she put Jodi on report for sexual inappropriate comment. Jodi lost her contact privilege that took her 6 months to earn.


“Cocblock” is a very common term on/in every prison that means to “block”. I myself would never use the term because it sounds inappropriate. So now her room is tossed all the time and it is harassment and I hate being next to someone targeted but hopefully she will learn to use better judgement with public and DOC.


As far as inmates go, Jodi is quiet and respectful at all times and this prison is full of murderers and worse in nature than Jodi Arias.


This yard is also full of child molesters, baby killers. Jodi view people against her as haters, myself I do not. I see them as mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers etc that feel passionately about her cime.

I want to ensure all of you that a life sentence is way worse than a death sentence. She is not given the same opportunities that other Lifers are given and she is under a microscope. Jodi does have a lot of support .

Many people want to know about how I feel about her not being on death row and I just laugh because she has it worse. I can get executed and no matter how pretty the artist paints a picture, its prison and in AZ. Its hard time and and in the grace of God go I.

I can’t get legal calls scheduled due to “inconvenience” but Jodi can get back to back legal calls in one day, or we have been trying for months to Warden , Jodi goes viral and Jodi gets a one on one, so that special treatment does irritate me. I have a broken window, a sink that doesn’t drain, no light installed, and a messed up room but she …

A wrist strap would keep the camera dangling at her wrist because she wouldn't have time to stop and take it off in the heat of the moment. The dangling camera would accidently get hit and take pictures as it swung around. That's brilliant Hope.

IMO the weapons were not where he could see them. I think she only had a camera in her hand until the second before she stabbed him. If the weapons were laying on the vanity he could have shoved her aside and: A) run out of the bathroom and down the stairs B) shoved her aside and grabbed the weapons himself.

IMO it would matter if he saw her with socks pulled on over her shoes. Who does that? IMO it would have ruined her scenario of, "hey, let me take some pics of your new body, you look great, water effect...blah blah blah". Travis would be distracted and asking questions like why do you have socks on over your shoes? That's weird. Take them off you look stupid...ruin the "mood" she needed. She needed him relaxed and cooperative, not questioning her or her motives.
IMO he was tired. He was done with her and ready for her to leave. He was probably disappointed in himself for being weak and having sex with her again. He wanted to clean up then get on his conference call in an hour. She kept stalling until he finally got into the shower and agreed to let her take some pics. It took her eight minutes to get up her nerve, pull the knife and attack.

She's not Scott Peterson. She wasn't fleeing to Mexico to avoid prosecution, nor going on a camping trip to the gold country. Nobody rapes her, she is in charge. She was on another murder mission packed with her knives and gun. The question is who was her next target.

I still haven't decided what the larger, dark thing is. I think it may be her dragging his hand and hitting the camera, on the far right you can see what looks like a thumbnail that is holding on and the closest to the camera finger is limp as is the one nearer the thumbnail (and has quite a bit of blood on it).

I looked at this and saw TA back, covered in blood. I swear it looks as though a knife is propped on him, visible in the upper left hand corner, handle out. I figured she was dragging him by his arms which would have kept his head up.

The pics of TA with the throat wound were taken 6 days? after he was killed. Decomp had set in, making the throat wound very gaping. Immediately after slashing his throat, there was not that degree of separation IMO, so his head might not have been moving as freely as one might think. There are a number of muscles like the levator scapuli and trapezius (very large) that support the neck, though some had knife wounds. IMO

Isn't it interesting we all see something different.

I don't think he ever agreed to let her take the pix. There is one in the sequence at the end where his face shows total shock, anger, and fear. I don't think when he had his back turned he had any clue she was there. I think he was destressing since he thought she was gone.
