Who knows IF they did..IMHO this case has been botched by LE since the beginning.. Also, I'm under the impression the van was returned to it's owner, who I believe is Lindsey...JMO

I was looking through it and there are some very interesting facts that I'd forgotten.

This is ONLY for asking a question and leaving an answer.

If you disagree with an answer, perhaps a thread needs to be opened so we can research for clues.

The old thread (that I closed more because of its length than its content) had begun a conversation about cell pings. It might have been best to answer that LE had not yet released cell pings that we could analyze. And then it would have been a good idea to either find an old thread about cell pings OR opened one if there isn't one to be found. You can always link to a discussion thread as your answer and sometimes it is better to do that since docs haven't been released to us yet.

And please PM me or Chicoliving or Grandmaj if you just aren't sure. :grouphug:

This thread if for the few black and white facts we have and answers must be ready to be backed up by a link. That is the purpose of this thread.
 
Why, if Misty wrote a more detailed letter to her brother, have we not heard any news. Why would she be sending the letters and talking to Flo instead of using her information to have leverage to get a reduced sentence? Wonder what her lawyer thinks? Why would the police have told the family to prepare for a funeral then thye go silent? If they did tell the mother that Joe had something to do with it don't you think it odd that she is not telling others about what happened? I mean who can kee such a thing from people.
 
Does anyone know what time the hearings are for Tommy and Ron tomorrow?
 
Can anyone point me to a link or early conversation regarding the overheard phone call Ron received from home that night about Haleigh misbehaving?

WHO was paying for MC's cell phone? I betcha it was a "disposable" - I say that because no one in this circus makes enough to pay for a "plan" or contract. LC and HC don't have cells right now (at least I don't think so - and if they do they are probably disposables too, all the talk about "needing minutes").

There is only ONE phone number listed on the LE report. Probably RC's cell. I don't think TN or ggms would pay to "add MC" to their plans. Maybe RC - but its still money and just paying for "minutes" is cheaper and a better way to "stay in control" of someone - KWIM?

So, I'm thinknig MC's phone was "kinda like the lost 'blackjack' " and has not resurfaced. Again, WHO was paying for MC's cell, did LE do a forensic investigation of THAT phone, did LE even FIND THAT phone, WHY were there not TWO phone numbers listed on that LE report (both MC and RC should have had each of their phones in their respective hands - calling 911, calling TN, etc).
 
Why haven't we heard anymore from the retired FBI agent that claims to have solved the case?
 
In a recent post, someone suggested that letters should be sent to Misty to encourage her to tell what she knows about HaLeigh's disappearance. I've never corresponded with someone who was incarcerated and wonder what repercussions, if any, there might be for those who write to inmates. If I write to Misty, is there any way that doing so could come back to haunt me?

Yes. She could answer, and you'd have to try to decipher what she says.
 
She could mention getting a letter from you in a published jailhouse call and then we'd dissect your motives here.

She will play you. Ask for money, whatever. BDE, I don't think it's a good idea to get involved with group. FWIW

I haven't followed this case as closely as much of you, so hopefully you guys/gals can help me out.

Were there any previous 911 calls made by RC, MC, or any other family members about anything leading up to Haleighs disappearance, or even during the custody battle with CS?

Just trying to figure out their 'snitch' or 'rat' mentality- You know, how if you call on LE about anything then you're viewed as a 'dog', so they usually seek their own justice without involving the cops..... having even more dark & illegal skeltetons in thir closet that they could worry may come out during the homicide investigation.

I'm also interested in calls made to 911 against them for disturbance or suspected abuse/drug dealing ,or any other suspicious activities going on, by non-related peeps in their area.

Has any of this been released yet?

Does anyone remember that strange text or something that was sent to one of the media groups, in the very begining...addressed to RC..??? something about "your doing a great job" , "keep up the good work", "your reward is around the corner" something like that...??? If someone can refresh my memory or point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it...I can't find anything about it.... Maybe I'm wrong...TIA

Good morning, to answer your first question, I have not personally heard of any other 911 calls being released as far as calls to the home of 202 before Haleigh went missing. police did say that there was a prior history of DCF visits to the home but never mentioned or released 911 calls in regards to that.

About RC and PDM...that I can answer.

According to E Zastro, a PDM employee and co-worker of RC, he stated that he worked on the yard with Ronald since he was hired in October of 2009.

Help please?

On or about April 17, 2009 the PCSO released a press release that was reported to state specifically that Crystal and Ronald Cummings were not considered suspects in the disappearance of Haleigh. I can't find that press release.

Second question:

Terry Shoemaker (IIRC) was on the NG show stating where he thought RC was in position on the list of Suspects in the disappearance of Haleigh.

To anyone that knows where I can find the following info thank you very much in advance. I have spent the last hour looking!
