earlier I heard 2 miles from her home, then I heard a mile . . . now it is a block away? OMG!

A block does not seem possible...surely LE would have searched as close as possible to his mother's property without needing a warrant, wouldn't they have? Does anyone know for sure how far this really is from his mother's house? The closer the better, IMO...

Multiple sources have said that the hair color and height of the body match that of Hailey Dunn. We also learned Wednesday morning that items discovered on the body seem to be consistent with Hailey.

National Fox News just talked about case. Anchorwoman stated remains found and then interviewed an expert about "new" information coming to light. The "new" things are that the mother's boyfriend (who he said was "once" a suspect) had an obsession with slasher movies and once told a relative that killing a teenager would be like killing a deer....

So, in other words, no new info on national news channels so far.

CBS7 News / KOSA-TV Sgt. Everett: body is mummified. Body remains will have to be sent off. Still cannot make a determination on gender. The area was not searched for Haley Dunn to the BSPD knowledge.

I know this is probably just me being petty but ...

The thread title really bothers me. "Bones found ... " I realize we don't know if it's Hailey but they have apparently been confirmed as human remains. Bones just sounds so cold & indifferent. Some family out there is going to get some very sad news.
