Exactly. Travis grew up neglected. Jodi was loved, well fed, had a clean home. Travis's parents were drug abusers. Jodi's were small business owners. The things she describes are basically a teen age girl who is raging at her mom. Dad intervenes and she hit a door frame. I doubt she lost consciousness.
Glad they are picking up on confronting rivals. Jodi decides when things become "official". The relationship isn't "officially" over until Jodi says it's over.

There is nothing like an ex-Juror being able to talk to the seated Judge on a trial they shared. The respect endowed each other is mutual and lifelong. It is completely refreshing to be able to talk to a person that you had been prohibited to speak with for six months. There were a hundred questions I probably wanted to ask him but only thought of a few. At one point, when he asked me of the Arias Trial and how it was proceeding, I responded that I felt it was painstakingly slow in comparison to the speed of his death penalty trial. He laughed in understanding and then quipped, “I don’t do sidebars.”I can still picture him when attorneys were presenting arguments. I cannot tell you how many times Judge Steinle III would unabashedly tell the attorneys, no matter which side, “Save it for appeal, gentlemen! Let’s move along. We have a jury empaneled.”

Oh how truly that must have been hard for her to read. Jane interviewed so many people that exposed her many lies. My favorite was Bobby Juarez saying that Jodi lied and lied and lied . The truth is she was an unstable train wreck. She stalked him much the way she would later stalk Travis. He booked it all the way out to Hawaii to shake her. Can you just see Jodi kicking the jail cell wall?

Much of what was in the book Jodi Arias actually could do well to prep for; because , Juan and Dr. De Marte are going to have a field day with all of it and then some.

Dr. DeMarte will help jury see Jodi Arias as less than human with the extreme goal directed planning of her revenge, all of the higher functioning planning she did before, during and after the murder.

Reading Jane's book likely made Jodi want to adapt her story. Quite a bit!

Juan may play clips of Jacob Mefford's testimony where he shows Jodi Arias on the lap of Travis in a hotel, in front of his very closest buddies, and the picture Jacob testified to of Jodi in a Hyatt bathrobe, getting a kiss from Travis, in the doorway of his HOTEL ROOM. This makes it very obvious the friends knew they were having a sexual relationship. She was not playing church bingo in a bath robe in a hotel room. THEY POSED FOR THE PHOTO. Travis was actually, proud to show Jodi off to his friends, UNTIL he started realizing her mental instability.

Indeed both Deanna and Lisa testified he was a gentleman that they loved, trusted and respected who treated them well. With them he had NO kinky or unacceptable sexual nonsense. Dr. Demarte will explain to the jury the TRUTH of the ever changing relationship between Travis and Jodi, not just the first couple of months that Nurmi asked his expert about.


Many of these topics were touched on in Jane's book. Jodi Arias reading the book and making notes in the margin is just too too funny. I know she is scared of Dr. DeMarte.

She took Jen to school so MANY times. My favorite was when Jen was trying to make a fool of her pointing out that Dr. De Marte did not realize that Lanore Walker no longer used her own six criteria for battered women's syndrome. That very evening Nancy Grace has on guess who.... Lanore Walker. She asked her immediately is it true she doesn't use her own original six criteria. Ms. Walker, cleared that up, "Yes, I do.I still use it!" She went down her list of the six and it turns out that Dr. De Marte had it absolutely verbatim. Juan was VERY kind not to make a big deal out of it the next day. He simply asked on redirect are those still valid and used. "Yes. Of course" Dr. De Marte said. The camera panned over to Jen as if this were a soap opera and you could hear the dun dun un ta.......she just swallowed hard and looked down. America laughed from their living rooms. Hard.

I picked March 17th too, because it's my birthday, and SQDRIScottPeterson left for San Quentin on March 17th 2005, 10 yrs this 3-17.

I love the exchange he had with Judge Steinle lol. "I don't do sidebars." What a timely moment to run into him and learn the contrast with the way he runs his courtroom vs. the way Judge Stephens does. Wonder how many other judges are watching this trial and shaking their head.

First, BJ would have to be willing to testify, as LKN appears to be unwilling to subpoena him.

I'm unwilling to make the assumption that BJ is willing.

She really is pathologically controlling. I wonder if JA's attorneys don't want her 14 mitigation witnesses to testify because if Juan Martinez asks them if JA told them what to say on the stand they'd each have to answer "yes."

Paul is by miles and miles the best source to read trying to follow this phase of the trial. He captures what all the others try to, collectively. I will pre order any book he writes.

We learn that;once again, Jen/Nurmi don't know how to edit. Jen accidentally played more of Zack Billings interview than she wished to. The jury heard him say Travis never said he was a virgin, not in front of Zack ( a room mate ), and despite what Dr sexpert tetified Travis never said he lost his temple recommend. Woopsie Daisy, as my Gram used to say.

People tell on themselves. Jodi/her lawyers/her experts have a habit of it. Often
