Just my opinion and nothing more but....JA is hateful and that means full of hate right? But whether she hates or not, she killed Travis with pure passion...and precision.

I guess I will be the odd man out.. . That is okay.. I can take it..


I just see her as more irrational than emotional. I see her as an actress. She reminds me of Scott Peterson. Ugly and heartless on the inside. I just don't think she is capable of real and full emotions.

i am thinking JM had only phone numbers and contacts would not return his calls or comply. So he has to subpoena them and needs their addresses and miss priss won't comply either.

BTW, I would like to see Attorney JW be sanctioned by court.

I'm willing to bet that he does have phone numbers (see my post above). If that's wrong and CMJA has already made a mockery of the process by spitting in JM's face, my other bet is that she's cooked.

Stephens has absolute discretion to impose council on her if cmja demonstrates she can't act in her own best interest.

Contempt of court and disrespecting the judge who will decide her fate if the second jury hangs on penalty? What more needs to be demonstrated?

I thought he did say something in the motion about trying to get the addresses OR the phone numbers from the defense?

Witness do not have to show up because JM calls them and ask them to come to court. Legally they would need to subpoena them. That is normal procedure.

JSS issued a court order for witnesses to be interviewed with determination of location to be advised. They do have to show up for that.

I disagree about the hate thing as well. I think it's one of the few emotions she feels and very deeply. She has shallow emotions, none of their nuances. She is a unique sociopath in that she is also BPD. She feels happiness, for herself, she feels anger, towards others. And that's it.

I can definitely see what you're saying Scarlett. I think you're right to a point. I think at one point Travis was everything to her, and now he's nothing. She threw him away and has no qualms about hurting him.

So what, judge tells them again, he goes to Wilmott, Wilmott refuses and around and around we go? Doesn't this little game look very bad for the defense on paper?

Sounds to me as if there is a rift between lawyer and miss priss. She is giving orders they know wont float. Maybe they said Its your show, you handle it..I think she would have a computer now.Wonder if it has internet.IMO..

I think the date of the 29th on his Motion For Sanctions is interesting, along with formally asking the court to enforce 15.2. That specifically requires addresses, and gives the defendant 10 days after he turns over his list to furnish them. 15.2 gives the court discretion to change the dates but not the content, btw, but there has been no mention of an extension of the time requirement. The minute entry of 8/20 noted he had turned his list over, maybe on the 19th which would make the 29th the tenth day? He apparently did agree to work with them on this and tried, but JW blew him off. So he is now formally requesting full compliance of the code as written or alternatively not to allow their testimony. But all this time, the clock has been ticking on the 10 day requirement and that has now expired. They should have appreciated what they had.

No, you're right, they don't. But normal procedure doesn't seem to apply here. JSS denied JM access to their addresses , so he couldn't possibly have been in a position to subpoena them directly.

It sounds like JSS and JM agreed to have exchanges about interview arrangements between JM and the witnesses "mediated" by Wilmott and Nurmi.

Which, if so , makes Wilmott's refusal baffling and completely unethical. Seems to me like we're missing some info here.

My question would be was it JA's responsibility to have her attorneys send out the subpoenas? If the judge is ordering them to show up for court to be questioned there has to be a subpoena. If JA refuses, then wouldn't it be JM's responsibility to send them out? The State has the right to know what the witnesses plan to testify about so they can verify their testimony. And since they have had problems with JA's witnesses in the past I can see why JM has a problem with it. jmo

Maybe she doesn't even have that info and Jodi, having found these fringe people herself and getting advice from her fellow prisoners is the only one with the addresses and contact info. However, she is her council and she knows this is info Juan needs so I don't see the reason she couldn't have said ok I'll get them from Jodi and get them to you.

Unless you're right, there is a rift.

Hi Scarlett, you aren't the odd man out. There are likely a lot of people who agree with you. They just aren't posting right now. . I understand what you are saying but I see her filled with hate and rage and for no reason except pity for herself because she didn't get what she wanted. Kind of like the way she kicked the family dog and it ran away and never came back. Lol. I think she killed it.

That was my thought as well. Maybe Willmott doesn't have the information because JA won't give it to her.

Oh yes he is a psychopath but there is something really mean about JA. I think for Scott, killing Laci was the means to an end. Insane I know and he is where he should be. For Jodi, I think she planned and obsessed the slaughter of Travis so much that she enjoyed every minute of stalking him and lying in wait and having the sex and taking the pictures. I mean we cannot think like her but imagine killing someone, enjoying taking pictures of his body and then hopping on the highway to bed some other guy. Well, we can't imagine it because she is pure evil, mean, hateful and narcicisstic. I just do not have the words to describe how cruel I think she is. Lots of anger and rage inside her.

I agree. The sociopath in her allows her to do those things you mentioned and act on her feelings in an unfeeling and cruel way and not even care. But the BPD in her is where the intense emotions come from. Her actions come from something deep within, not just a place of caring so little about other people she doesn't care who she hurts. She didn't just kill Travis because she felt like it or he was in the way or whatever. He stirred up rage and hatred in her and she acted on it.

Oh wow! I wonder if it's real. This is what I have said in the past: all these people lining up to support her like she gives a **** about any of them. She doesn't care, she doesn't see outside herself enough to appreciate it. They could sing her praises all day. I'm sure her narcissism eats it up, but it's not like they'll ever get on her good side or she'll want to be pals. She sees people as a means to an end, nothing more. Hopefully that supporter was given a dose of reality!
