She also made sure to let Flores know she had been in the office the day of the murder. I never questioned the pictures and sex upstairs in the bed. However, the downstairs/office/because Travis was angry so I had to calm him down sex never rang true. But was she regaling Flores with an office sex scene to cover why her DNA or fingerprints were on the computer or desk area? Idk

The Office stuff glared out as an Arias fabrication. It all sounded dodgy, from the CD/Virus nonsense to throwing the case against the wall. The sex didn't ring true either. Are there forensics to back up the photo loading story?

You tell me. It's your fog. (LOL, sorry, couldn't resist) I think right now there's only two drives the current motions are dealing with; Travis', and only peripherally Tony's Dell drive the defense mistakenly turned over to the prosecution, the one which Juan said had nothing to do with the case. I don't think anything has come up so far that ties either of Jodi's drives (internal or external) into the current mess. Personally, I can't see bringing either of them in speculatively a move in the direction of clarity.

It is my fog. LOL. I just can't even guess how someone who does this type of work for a living would give the wrong copy to be presented in court.

It's either an accident or deliberate. Neither reflects well on them.

I spoke to a friend in law enforcement and he confirmed for me that forensic disk images are usually not entire hard drives with pins that could be bent and then repaired. Disk image files are often burned on DVD or other removable media, not internal HDDs. I don't understand why the disk copy is on a drive that could even be confused with the original drive.

YesOrNo posted this over on the SideBar thread. It addresses the innate anger and rage of a sociopath, like the Killer, imo. Quite chilling.

I read the article "Confessions of a Sociopath". I don't see Jodi this way. Of course, I don't know Jodi either. First of all, Jodi is not high functioning. I don't think, from what we know of her history, that she was ever able to relate to anyone, anywhere for long, maybe months? I would be interested to read more of what a psychopath is and whether Jodi fits that description. Jodi seems to be clingy, needy, lazy, and yes manipulative. She is not near as smart as she would like to think. And she doesn't want to work for anything. She seems to me to be outright cruel and obsessive and willing to just take what she wants. I don't think she killed Travis because he made her mad at the moment. I truly believe she was obsessed with having his life and when she realized he wasn't giving in, she planned his execution. It all seems too easy for Jodi. Her way of thinking is "I want him. I am obsessed with having him. No? Then I will make him pay with his life. He owes me." She seems to be more violent than this person who calls herself a sociopath. Although she may share some of those traits. I think had I ever met Jodi, I would instinctively know I would not like her. Too bad Travis didn't run far and fast when he met her.

Well, if I understand correctly, the defense requested the actual computer, so, the actual drive. The mirror image law enforcement made back in 2008 may be distributed as DVD's, but that's not what the defense requested. Also that 2008 image, whatever media it was on, wouldn't reflect the changes the original defense made in 2009, and that the current defense blamed on the prosecution.

Well, I could be wrong but it kinda, sorta, almost sounds like JM thinks it was deliberate....(gasp)

Well, if the defense doesn't sincerely believe in the merits of their allegations, they certainly believe in its merits as a delay tactic, so their actions would be in sincere support of that.

as ripe pickings. The Mormon community has many successful people who are very related through their religion. There is a strong social network available. I think she thought she could use her sexual "prowess" to easily entice vulnerable men as the typical person in that community is not cavalier about sex-so I think she figured she would essentially have a monopoly by using sex.

I totally agree with you. She was ready to walk away from Travis but she did want to troll the other vulnerable Mormon men that he knew. And she could not risk him warning them what a psycho witch she was. She needed to silence him forever.

I think that maybe there was motion in September dealing with the phones, video camera and other electronic equipment that deals with misconduct. Not sure what it is all about.

The misconduct seems front and center thought.

Gotta wonder if her plan to smear Travis started with the breakup and subsequent move.

Her plan to smear and murder Travis started and ended with his pronouncement to the murderess his conviction that Mimi was the likely future Mrs. Travis Alexander, and that she was to accompany him to Cancun.

To quote Gru from "Despicable Me": Light bulb...

I have been thinking about the handshake. I wonder what JSS thinks of it. Does she think it is business as usual or is she wondering hey what's that all about?

JSKS may be jealous.

She may be as hot for the murderess as is Brewer, Searcy, Samuels, Zervakos, and Neumeister.

She has every sign of being a sociopath, except the high-functioning part, but not all of them are. She isn't clingy and needy, she's determined and entitled and doesn't take no for an answer. She gets told off and thrown out of the Hughes' house and sits in the kitchen for 15 minutes as if it never happened. She wants Travis so she drops Daryl and walks away from the financial responsibilities she had with him, no concern to her if he lost the house. Remember the alien rage in her eyes outside the Hughes' bedroom? How about her mother crying in the interrogation room over how she could have done such a thing but acted perfectly normal afterwards? Makeup please, and a smile for her mugshot, her convincing lies in front of millions of people - it goes on and on...

Proper chains of custody, accurately maintained, would preclude such an error.

I was appalled when I learned that the judge actually agreed to let the DT boot up the evidence, thereby corrupting it.

I'm just catching up now, please tell me I'm reading wrong. Did the defense computer witness seriosuly get up and shake Jodi's hand, after his testimony INFRONT of the judge? Is there a picture of this taking place?

Well, since JSKS banned the media -- at the request of the especially cruel lying torture murderess -- only people who are physically present and alert would know what was actually done and said.

What we can tell you is that there were tweets and blog posts which indicated that when the DT's computer witness was excused for the day he walked over to the convict, smiled at her, and shook her hand.

We do not know what the two of them may have exchanged in addition to their flesh pressing.

I suspect it happened quickly, and I have not seen an image to back up the claim; although reports of the public display of affection were disseminated by numerous purported trial watchers.

No word on whether she "adjusted" him as she did Ryan Burns immediately after torture-slaughtering Travis.

Here's an image from the hearing where it appears that the seated Bryan Neumeister is attempting to console the surgically enhanced killer in the manner to which she is accustomed.

BBM

I would say that she is clingy and needy. She's clingy like a parasite, and then some - invasive, like a blood-sucking parasite, sinking her teeth into the most private and intimate areas of Travis' life, never loosening her grip. And needy like a parasite needs a host because, lacking substance, character and real intelligence and emotions, she has no capacity to "make it" on her own - lies and manipulation can only do so much. Better to seek and attach herself to a thriving and successful host and succeed because they succeed.

I find very remarkable that she flinches & turns away in horror at what she has done, yet believes there should be no consequence for her act. She actually does think she should be home for the holidays and that being caught in the toils of the law is an awful mistake caused by haters.

Ay-yup. He did indeed. Thereby essentially mooning the entire civilized world. (I guess we're lucky that all he did was shake her hand.)
