I had typed my Dr. F analysis, but I won't post it. Glad I didn't hit submit quickly like I normally do. I just like to have fun, not make anyone mad. The email is hilarious though, something I would do to a close friend.

We were great friends in college and hung out together almost every night. When he got married and started a family we weren't in close touch, but we saw each other now and again. Then I got lower immunity and couldn't go to the parties he invited me to because I don't want to get sick. So I am doing it to a close friend. :floorlaugh:

If I am remembering right items can be sent to the recycle bin and as long as the item is still in the recycle bin it can be restored. When you used the incinerator on your picture are you able to restore the picture? I am so slow at figuring out all the computer stuff, but I am slowly getting there. Lol

I wouldn't know how to restore a picture that's been passed through the regular recycle bin. :dunno:

On my recycle bin a have a choice to 'manage' and when I click on it says 'restore item's'.
I take it the incinerator wouldn't have this option.

Well it's just like a recycle bin. You right click it and it disintegrates stuff. If you want to uninstall it it just works like uninstalling any other program. I don't think installed programs go to the recycle bin. So I'm not sure what they mean when they say they found it in the recycle bin?
I believe they said it wasn't in the recycle bin.

They said it creates a folder called recycle.bin

This folder would only be created if the OS is Windows 7/Vista.

Ok, I think I got it. Two different recycle bins, the incinerator One being a folder. See I learn something new each day. Thank you.

I know how to restore files once they are in the bin and still in the bin. If I delete them from the recycle bin I don't know if I can get them back. I've never tried before though.

Splash Hit Productions, in the person of Gary Nelson, acquired the rights to the killer's life story. I wonder if MDLR was intermediary in negotiations and obtaining the connection in the first place. In any case, once again the star held in maximum security within The Tower, was foiled in her plans for exposure to a broader public. She insists the sheriff isn't fulfilling his obligations and she gladly counts the ways. He squashed this project in August, though, so she may have done the deal while she was her own rep.

Where did you hear that? How much did he pay and did he even need to pay? I can write a book about David Berkowitz without his consent I believe. Maybe I'm wrong? :dunno:

Whereas I do not understand the first two paragraphs, especially the second paragraph (you are definitely a computer geek :)). I so agree with your brilliant last paragraph deduction. Thank you so much.

I think you understand. It's like when you open a court minutes PDF from the court web site. The server where that PDF is located doesn't have to have any Reader software on it. You can't change that PDF and save it on the server. You just read it.

I am answering as I googled for info. I do not know how accurate Radar is but will give you the link. Interesting reading if this is true. This was done on May 1, 2014 and no money exchanged hands according to article.

Re JA and dates, you can bet it's some reference to something, other than your birthday! :) TA and her met Sept'06, she was baptized Nov'07, they started "fraudulently"(according to JA's letter) dating in Feb'07 and broke up the end of June'07, after which he apparently started dating others in Dec '07... that's two October 22's that could hold some significance to her from their relationship. Where are her diaries and email/myspace/etc records... or better yet, did TA have a journal of some type that may show that day's happenings?

They did meet in September 2006, and Travis baptized her in November 2006. They became "official" according to Jodi February 2007 and "broke up in June 2007, and Jodi moved to Mesa. In October 2007 DeAnna found Jodi at Travis's on his laptop, and in December 2007 Jodi crashed a party at Travis's, and announced that she was his girlfriend. He said nope and there is no room for you here, and Jodi didn't leave and slept under the Christmas tree. I can't remember who she told that in her version of the story Travis let her sleep on a couch and he slept on the floor holding her hand all night.

Just read that if the especially cruel lying torture murderess is sent to death row she will be in solitary confinement 23 out of 24 hours each day.

:jail:
True. She'll be housed in the Lumley Unit at Perryville. Her neighbor most likely will be Wendi Andriano.

You and your friends sound exactly like my husband and his friends lol.

Ooooooooooohhhhhh I got it now.

IMO, IF it did happen, it wasn't BN who did it. He's just the guy they called in for the court to make it all seem legit.

He kinda reminds of Dixon in the Pistorius trial...

Truth Detector had a good description of how it works above. I'll try it from a different angle.

Think of the following analogies of a computer and its hard drive vs a book:
file manager = table of contents
files = chapters
bit/bytes = words/pages/paragraphs

When you delete a file on a computer, the file manager deletes the pointer to it, same as if you erased an entry in the table of contents in a book. The actual chapter is still there, but you would no longer know it exists if the only way you knew how to find it was through the table of contents.

So in that analogy, you could flip through a book and find something that looked like a chapter in a book, even if it wasn't referenced in the table of contents. Similarly with the right tools you can look for files without using file manager. That is a more complicated endeavor, because files are not necessarily contiguous. They can span blocks of space but have pointers between pieces. Think of taking a book and mixing up the pages: if they had page numbers on them you could piece them back together in the right sequence and reconstruct a chapter.

The last part of the analogy is what things like Incinerator do. If you really want to get rid of a file, you need to wipe out all the bits that make up the file. This can take multiple passes (not sure why that is to be honest) that keep overwriting the area that the file was in. It would be similar in the book analogy to taking the pages of the deleted chapter and running them through a shredder and then running the shredded contents through a shredder again. Eventually no matter how patient you were, it would be impossible to reconstruct the pages as they originally were and you could not tell anything about what had been there originally.

Great analogy!

I know how to restore files once they are in the bin and still in the bin. If I delete them from the recycle bin I don't know if I can get them back. I've never tried before though.

You can retrieve/restore them if the areas on the disk where they still reside have not been overwritten.

In which case they no longer reside there -- in whole, at least. Sometimes a portion of a file is also recoverable.

His decisions to do this actually came after the judge's decisions to kick out the cameras. He says it was the judge's order and he was just helping Jodi comply with the order, which gave him a great excuse to shut her up. The defense should be thanking him for "saving her from herself."

I'm re-posting the September 4, 2014 letter from Sheriff Joe Arpaio to another documentary maker, Olivia Klaus, whose lawyer wrote in February to request an interview with JA.
Here are both letters as PDFs: http://media2.abc15.com/html/pdf/AriasDocumentaryRequest.pdf
