Ahhhaaa! My month was up and I needed to update my subscription with BK.

Could it be that when JM was questioning the witnesses it was just kind of implied that when he asked about the *advertiser censored* he meant that someone had actually sought out? I remember him specifically saying neked from the waist up?

Would it be lying to say there was no *advertiser censored* when no one had sought it out?

And when EH woke the computer could it have run a virus scan and deleted all the viruses thus the 2008 clone but in 2009 when it was running for 12 minutes it could have gotten viruses?

TIA

Yooohoo

Went awol for a week or so,was absolutely dying with the cold and a sickness bug eurgh.

Please tell me we are all go for tomorrow.

Suppose I chose a good week to be sick with there being no trial

We inquire without satisfaction about the activity in Travis' home office, the afternoon of June 4, 2008. Certainly, we cannot trust the killer's lying account & the facts derived from evidence found at the scene are few. Geevee is frustrated by the paltry information from the cell phone. We knew that Travis sent a text to Chris Hughes at 12:13 pm, which was received. I've also learned that 23 messages that day filled Travis' voice mail to capacity. Four were reviewed & saved; nineteen never checked. The email on the office p.c. was accessed at 4:19 pm & that was the final use of the computer.

An hour & a half after the text went out to Chris, Travis and Jodi photographed four nude exposures of her and two of him. I recall Detective Flores referred to a video of the two in the act, as well. He let Arias know he would not be presenting that to her. We also know that SpyBot was activated at the same moment the Travis was captured lying naked on his bed.

Investigation revealed Arias called the man she had murdered at 11:48 pm, six hours & a quarter after her deed, and again at 11:53 pm. These were chatty messages about straying off the road and June social plans. We've heard the content of those calls and her twelve year old voice. She also testified to deleting"multiple phone sex recordings because she wanted to keep them secret." (Testimony from March 7, 2013)

This murderer is furtively devious and treacherously vindictive. She has zero compunctions about sticking her black socked foot into places she does not belong but protects her own space with a vengeance. Flores and a team from Siskiyou County invaded her room and her grandfather's house when they observed her escape preparations.

Flores had also warned her he was obtaining a search warrant for Travis' email and that friends of the victim had spoken about her intrusions and that remote access was a focus. This, in a phone call at a time in June when Arias was pretending to be helpful but obviously wanted to know what the investigation had uncovered. She also faced the job of rendering her own computer useless for all purposes.

I believe Arias wants to retaliate with the most punishing means against, not just the prosecutor, but Flores. By this, I mean it is a personal vendetta besides a desperate effort to save her life. Deanna Reid testified Arias was into the Compaq Presario as early as October, 2007 and Travis complained to Arias about all her invasions of his privacy and her hacking. By habit and inclination, altering her electronic trail & mischief would be atop her To Do list. Smiting Travis (yes, again), the prosecutor and the detective with *advertiser censored* has been a slow work in progress since the summer of 2008, not second on her list but right along side in priority. Not everything she planted has been unearthed. She's always been too busy, to conclude that and she's busy still.

Not only was she hoping they'd watch, but she was trying to pull some good old reverse psychology by asking for death, and hoping the jurors would say, "Hey let's not give her what she wants. Life in prison would be more of a punishment".

And her saying that now she knows murder is wrong.

Well before I get caught up on posts from today I'm going to write this while it's still fresh in my noggin. I spoke to my friend and learned a few things.

A copy of an HD will transfer the information from the old disc to the new disc in random order. So say I have programs A, B, C, D, E on my HD. A copy will return them jumbled so something like D, B, E, A, C could end being the order of them on the copy.

A clone of an HD will put them in the exact order in which they appeared on the HD.

When I told him about the defense returning only the used the portion of the HD and none of the blank space he thought that was really hinky. My exact question was "Does that make you think they are trying to hide something?" His answer was "Oh Yeah!"

He said anyone who uses incinerator and then leaves it in the recycle bin; "Would have to be an idiot." <---- That's a quote.

He said a professional would put incinerator on a thumb drive and use it that way. Then there would be no traces left behind.

He also told me that turning on the computer and have it update programs could overwrite old deletions. He said in most cases though you'll find a partial file. So if it overwrote an old picture you could probably find some of that file left. (i.e. the code for half a picture.) He did not think it could wipeout 160,000 references to *advertiser censored*.

He also told me that forensic examination isn't done manually. You use a program to search the disc and it will lay out all of the deleted items from the computer if they haven't been overwritten yet. So if the registry was ignored it's because the computer program ignored them. I'm assuming that after they are found they are researched and recreated.

I thanked him and told him that I was so thankful that I'd wait at least 24 hours before sending him another "specially edited" email to him. A promise I don't intend to keep if I have the time. Lucky for him, it's Sunday. The busiest day for my fantasy league. So I might have to keep it anyway. :giggle:

Wasn't it from guilt phase trial that Deanna testified she caught Jodi on Travis' computer and baking cookies.
Wonder what date that was, does it coincide with any known *advertiser censored* dates?
There's texts (maybe phone too) of Jodi hacking Travis' computer.
Jodi herself states/testifies of having Travis' passwords to his accounts.

I think the state can thwart any *advertiser censored* the defense throws at them.
Someone else did it, Jodi did it, or they did it together for an evening of fun.

Would the defense really want to go there - their own expert did not find any first time around.

It has become glaringly obvious the defense has no shame and will go...anywhere, really.

Wow!!!

ETA: you're definitely the first to post this information, and it's pretty good information, too. Pretty much for sure you can't be certain Travis is the one accessed that *advertiser censored*.

So now the defense team can call Karas as a witness to say *advertiser censored* was found on his computer? So he paid to have it deleted, and whether or not he viewed it himself now means that through Beth's testimony, the defense can bring in the *advertiser censored*. oh yay, thanks Beth. Why couldn't she have kept her mouth shut until AFTER this trial?
ETA
: Beth Karas didn't mention it but a few day ago, it was posted here that Taylor Searle had been listed as a prosecution witnes for this penalty phase. Why didn't Taylor share that with Beth?

I have to admit--that concerned me too at first, but Karas knows law, remember.

<respectfully snipped for brevity>

BBM. Yes, she's still busy and has people helping her. There is a JA supporter on twitter who can't seem to resist patting himself on the back or offering tidbits on what's coming, but does appear to have someone's ear. He claims to have been the one talking to Flores' wife, and apparently gave Nurmi the info about Flores supposedly writing a book, which Nurmi asked about in a hearing. In the last couple days he says there is still more on another clone that contains a 'surprise' and in another tweet says that there was a letter delivered to JSS Friday that's supposed to cause some trouble. That guy from New Zealand was evidently spending a lot of time on both Sandra Weber's blog and on that site JA favors, repeating outrageous tales for the past year and now is a possible witness. There is just way too much of what the defense is doing that seems connected to these people, IMO, and the apparent contact person sits right there at the defense table, paid by the good people of AZ. Then there is Donovon with connections to all of them along with Aunt Sue, who grooms & feeds them as well. It's crazy to think these kinds of 'supporters' can actually infiltrate an ongoing trial in this country - I thought the Anthonys were bad! Meanwhile, JM has to respond to this insanity when it's brought to JSS, as if dealing with all the real parts of this trial aren't enough.

She is acting as a reporter right now. Did she contact Maritnez with this information? It seems to me she just posted it for her readers. Until this trial is completed and Jodi's locked away, I wish they would give all their information to JM. Yes Beth knows the law but sometimes I am not certain where she stands regarding this phase of the trial.

I am not surprised that this happens in this country. Our justice system is no more than a game that someone wins and someone loses. It was once all about getting to the truth of the matter but that concept went out the window a long time ago.

Social media are playing a part in this trial, but it's only recently, IMO, that Nurmi is starting to let JA introduce her antics with her fans. Maybe he has given up to an extent, as I mentioned in a previous post. The players and scammers are out there, no doubt, but it's difficult to determine how many are real and how many are posers because of the nature of conduits like Twitter. JA's life in her cell must consist of nothing but these dubious characters, her attorneys, her mitigation specialist, and her family. The dubious characters, some of whom have records themselves, are all she has in terms of hope, and she's milking them, manipulating them, as they are her. She is fully ensconced in the criminal culture and hasn't even been to prison yet.

I've been recently rereading a book concerning technology and culture/economics. Seeing this play out in the court system is amazing. Will the courts be allowed to chase down "Tweeters" based on their IP addresses, proxy servers, etc.? This will have to be addressed at some point--and this trial might be a catalyst for regulations further down the road.

One other thing. It is possible to delete a program without uninstalling it, but it's not something the average computer user could do easily.

Whatever information she has, she knows whether she can or cannot legally reveal it to the public or to JM. My guess is that JM and the defense team already know about whatever information she has. She's an attorney as well as a reporter. I do want to add that I have never been an HLN watcher, though I know that she was employed there because a friend of mine watched that channel. (I could not stand it.) I only know of Karas specifically from paying attention to this trial online. I am impressed.

BBM: She sure comes off as pro-defense sometimes, doesn't she? I am not saying specifically this time, but sometimes I had to question where she was coming from in some of her tweets.

I don't think Beth did anything wrong. She only posted that Taylor Searle approached her because he was not following the Sentencing trial, and recently heard about the *advertiser censored* stuff on TAs laptop.
All I can say is goodie, bring it on.
The State now has a witness testifying that others have used Travis' laptop as he had many friends/roommates/jaded ex lovers, and he was a giving person.

I agree, and yes, BRING IT ON. I would love to know the reason Thomas Brown was kicked out. (he was the roommate that Travis kicked out and CMJA told Flores he might want to look at). Could he possibly have been the *advertiser censored* looky-loo, and that is why he was kicked out?

Oh, fun. A fifth clone with new incriminating information on it. That doesn't look suspicious at all.

And is it too much to believe this is the reason the defense refuses to turn their original copy over: because they're not done manipulating the information on it? Or should I say, making clones and manipulating the information on those?
