@NancyGraceHLN: Horn: "I believe knife injuries came first, gun injury last." #JodiArias

These ladies and gentlemen won't have weeks (months) of other irrelevant testimony to distract from the horror of this crime though.

Exactly. Some on the first jury "got it" and then "forgot it".

@ericksonvision:

Doc testifies bullet would have killed Alexander so there would be NO defensive wounds to his hands. Concludes gunshot came last.

#JodiArias

EXACTLY ! AMEN ! Hopefully, the DT can put this issue to rest !

@ericksonvision: Doc testimony that Alexander was shot AFTER he was stabbed directly contradicts #JodiArias claim that she shot him first.

I'm sure someone made this point before: she can't have had the knife in one hand and the gun in the other (especially with her "broken" finger), so this means she had to pause between stabbing him and shooting him, and I assume that pause would have to be a good few seconds in length. She knew what she was doing, and calling "the incident" an overkill is an understatement.

@NancyGraceHLN: Horn: Shot to brain would have caused immediate neurological damage. Chest & neck wound wouldn't be immediately fatal #JodiArias

Yes. I think she planned it use both the gun and knife to make it appear like there were two or more attackers. She did not have time go downstairs and get a knife. So, she had to have had both the gun and knife with her. And, as you say, she paused while switching weapons.

I never looked at autopsy photos from first trial as I would have never slept again. And now I am glad I am not viewing the trial. I absolutely believe it is vital the jury sees this up front and close. But I feel so sorry for them. Having a defense attorney say anything at this point is laughable.

Yuk! It didn't dawn on me in the first trial how strong that knife had to be to inflict 8? wounds to bone without breaking. Hardly a knife Travis would have selected for cutting a silky curtain cord, as she testified to.

Didn't CFJA family own a restaurant? If so, they would have knives that strong.

Plus when she was arrested she had both a gun and knives in the rental car. Wonder if the knives were consistent with the wounds that Travis suffered?

@ericksonvision: And #JodiArias court is back in session.

@ericksonvision: Jury brought in. Just sent out. OK then. #JodiArias
