from google....The Administration of Justice Act, or Act for the Impartial Administration of Justice, also popularly called the Murdering Act or Murder Act, was an Act of the Parliament of Great Britain. It became law on May 20, 1774. I'm going back to read more.

Did Matt live in Costa Rica or something. Did someone mention that? I dunno. I give. I am exhausted with guessing. I am gonna go binge on The Office reruns for a while...

No, they was an ex change student named Victor Arais that Jodi went to stay with his family. They tried to hide him from Jodi after two weeks IIRC.

Except that the media has the legal right to be there. And so does the public for that matter. It has to be something very serious IMO. I hope we eventually get to know, because so far this is not conducive to confidence in the justice system.
I have no doubt you are right AZ...I was just thinking of a post I read that said Travis' family had the right to stay but JAs family didn't.

This might be different, though, because this part is not the trial; it's the penalty phase. I believe that in a trial, the defendant has the right to confront their accuser. In mob trials, the people testifying against mobsters are required to be known to them, because of the right to confront your accuser. This person we are speculating about isn't Jodi's accuser, but rather a mitigator, working on Jodi's behalf. Having said that, I'd still like to know who it is, and why they require such secrecy to be of assistance to a vicious murderer

It is strange isnt it how the defendent is the one accusing everyone under the sun, instead of the other way around.

It seems we should have the right to confront Jodi's allegations because we dont know which one of us she is going to accuse next. :)
