It's going to be interesting when somebody in the media figures out the real name of A Boy Named Sue. I think Mr. Smith is going to be surprised that despite the defense's best efforts, you really can't keep this a secret.

Today really reminds me of the first two parts of the trial, when somebody would say every day, "you just can't make this *hit up."

No kidding! Unless he Bewitches it out of there, with cameras on EVERY cell phone...PLEASE!

just caught up with this morning tweets.
i still fail to see what watching *advertiser censored* has to do with this?
does it justify what she did to him? heck no.

i thought mitigation was about jodi proving why her life should be saved...so her life should be saved because travis watched *advertiser censored*? okayyyy then.

deluded,the lot of them.

Here is what I am wondering; Pseudo will not give his real name, Nurmi gave Juan a misspelling
Of his real name. Pseudo does not state any formal training. Pseudo states he has own business for about 10 years and works for big companies that have been hacked and on LESS THAN 5 federal cases. This is his first time testifying.
My take on this testimony presented is that Pseudo was a good hacker, so good that he was able to hack into big companies. He was caught by the Feds, who then used his expertise for free in some cases all while starting his own business testing vulnerability of large companies security. He has been on parole, or still is, necessitating his need to hide his real name because he is not supposed to be doing anything without the permission of his parole officer or handler.

Now that really makes sense...

Sounds more than plausible in this trial.

We have entered Dante's Inferno.

Maybe Sue was a CLIENT of good ol' ALV/ a domestic abuser or MF/ a man with abnormal sexual proclivities! Hahahaha! During his therapy one of them realized he could be put to good use... I mean make amends... by doing a sweet special snowflake this one, big favor! LMAO!

I think this witness is trying to be like the other defense witnesses and is trying to make easy money.
He is probably charging 'consultant' type wages.
Hey, with this defense's record, he can make some easy money for a week. All he has to do
is blab, blab , blab and be very general about things. I could probably get up there and do what he is doing.
I have declared myself a 'Data Specialist'.

Exactly what I was thinking. Wonder just when Juan got the correct spelling of his name? Imagine there's been some interesting reading at the prosecutor's office this AM...

I just found this, I don't know how current it is.
Court Hearings

Video and tape recording in Arizona state courtrooms is governed by Arizona Supreme Court Rule 122. Rule 122 allows recording at the sole discretion of the presiding judge. However, recording is flatly prohibited in juvenile court proceedings. The full text of Rule 122 can be found on the Arizona Judicial Branch's Arizona Court Rules website, under the "Current Arizona Rules" link. See also the Arizona Supreme Court website on cameras in the Court

So if this guy has a secret identity, Juan will be barred from asking him anything about his background.
- You said you own your own company. How many employees does it have? Objection/Sustained
- What companies have hired your company? Objection/Sustained
- How many servers have you examined at these alleged companies? Objection/Sustained
- What year was it when you first got arrested for hacking? Objection/Sustained

Defense asks for mistrial for umpteenth time accusing prosecutor of not turning over computer evidence. #jodiarias

My witness hasn't had time to find more *advertiser censored*. If he had more time he would find more. This goes to Ms. Arias speaking the truth #jodiarias

Waiting to start up again #jodiarias No jury yet will hear from defense computer expert no camera allowed today.

Nurmi says testimony will show Alexander looked at *advertiser censored* night and day. Calls him Jekyll and Hyde. #Jodiarias

BBM

IIRC, the defense has had the computer since May of last year and then long before that too. How much time do you need to add *advertiser censored*?

Smith says source evidence was modified in 2009 after becoming evidence. #jodiarias

Smith said he was asked to view "the source evidence" ... "which is rare" on TA's Toshiba computer. #jodiarias

Remind me what this has to do with mitigation?

The DT is being allowed to suggest prosecutorial misconduct???? And before JSS even rules on the motion????

Amazing, absolutely :censored: amazing isn't it! JM better be able to present a witness showing that incinerator was used to cover tracks while the defense had it. :gaah:

One thing for sure; Nurmi will fight tooth and nail to keep Juan from finding out who this guy really is! Perhaps he was allowed to give his city and state as pseudonyms too! Maybe he was 'nervous' and wrote his name misspelled for Nurmi? It just wouldn't do for the jury to find out that Nurmi had a convicted felon testifying for a convicted felon.

I believe Juan would have to know the guy's true identity, but in this case who knows.

This is unreal. Bizzaro trial, for sure!

I am taking some heart that JM seems to be pretty quiet, as far as objections go, and the possibility that he passes on even interviewing this guy.

Cross, in my head:

JM: Is John Smith your real name?
Sue: Err. No.
JM: Does anyone refer to you as a 'data scientist' that is not yourself?
Sue: My Mom likes to write it in whip cream on my pancakes, does that count?
JM: YES OR NO!
Sue: ...sigh... no.
JM: Who was your high school prom date?
Nurmi: OBJECTION RELEVANCE!
JSS: Overruled. Answer the question.
Sue: Um.. Well. Jodi Arias.
JM: No further questions.

The most fantastical part is JSS overruling Nurmi.

AZL.....another violation of AZ law? What do you think of JSS' decisions today? And theoretically, at what point does the State feel forced to take action if a judge has genuinely gone MIA ?

For me TODAY would be a good day to remove JSS as judge, declare a mistrial, and start the penalty phase over from scratch with a brand new judge. It would suit me fine and I would be patient to wait for justice if I knew we had a fair and impartial judge who knows how to rule from the bench.

Witness says alterations to computer were caused by a user not by a virus. #jodiarias

He can say whatever he wants. He didn't prove it to the judge because there was no hearing with him on the stand and she didn't rule on any of it. WTH?

Yes, unless the rules of procedure are suspended. Which in this trial means I have no idea if they will be allowed to ask him questions.

WAIT...did she turn off the OFFICIAL COURT camera?

I think there are going to be repercussions for the Judge if this is true. Why in the world is this guy "entitled to his privacy"? He doesn't have to be an expert witness and haul in the taxpayers money. He can just say no. He didn't say no. Cry me a river! This is so insane I can't even fathom it. I have worked in the legal field (non-attorney) for more years than I care to admit and it was always about perfection - don't change a comma, two assistants checking calendaring dates, WALK to the mailbox before pickup so the date of your proof of service is 100% accurate, make sure each individual judge's court rules are followed impeccably.

(Today is really getting to me - I may have to get off the crazy train.)

Dammit, I wish we could see a pic! :floorlaugh: OK, back to work ...
