The brainwashed one sounds like the Denny's coworker who thought JA must have been possessed by evil spirits. She's the one who sold JA 's postcard to her the day after receiving it.

I don't think the jury knew about them. I think they had already left.

I don't think so. Just because he said bring on the affidavits doesn't mean they can just put whatever they want in them. And I feel bad about it because it seems the defense set out to exploit his request and then when he argues them just say "well he asked for it" when Juan was simply trying to be accommodating.

Nah. He's not in any corner. The only damage those affs are going to do is to JA's case and perhaps to the DT's reputation.

I believe he was sincere when saying let the affidavits in but the DT are now trying to pull some sneaky, underhanded things, without JM having seen the affidavits. So, no, I don't think JM was backed into a corner, but this DT are just so devious.
