The theory is that Travis's behavior, combined with Jodi's mental illness, caused her to be super stressed out to the point where she wasn't thinking rationally about whether or not to murder him.

She must have been really stressed out then to not think rationally about whether or not to

clean the murder scene
lock the door behind her
dispose of the murder weapons
leave an alibi voicemail
write fake journal entries
pretend to be surprised and devastated by the news of TA's death
contact Mesa PD with all kinds of BS stories
do 48 Hours TV interviews
etc. etc. etc.

The defense is silly. We got some new information from this witness yesterday so instead of taking a few hours to go over it we need days to go over it and we need to get our witnesses up to speed so that'll take another couple days and you know, we think they should just be precluded altogether 'cause that shady.

They will also need lots of dark days because the defense expert witnesses they HAVE TO RECALL NOW are really really really busy and can hardly ever get to Phoenix.

See, that's what stops me. I can't imagine spending time in jail for the likes of those <tiresome people> even though I would be doing the world a favor.
