I wonder if JSS ever thinks about what TA wanted but was denied as JA was butchering him to death. FFS, JSS just deny her stupid request, let her feel all the nervousness, fear, torment, and suffering that she has subjected so many others to--and if she can't communicate properly in front of the public then just write it down and have someone read it for her sorry soul.

Please JSS, take a stand, and just stop her manipulation once and for all.

Now this... I would pay money for this, and you are absolutely right. The prosecution witnesses were dragged through the mud- IN FRONT OF EVERYONE. Make her do the same. WTH is going on in Arizona? She testified and allocuted JUST FINE, last trial. What is so new and different now?

Again, the COA said judge could send everyone to the media room. So yeah, I'm gonna defend that. It sounds like she put a firm foot down on sealing the allocution. It the COA left that door open. I'm sure the media would be fine as long as they know what's going on.

The COA already said she could do that as a remedy to her request. That's probably what they are asking for.

I agree MeeBee that JSS is going to grant the overflow thing, except what would be the purpose of such extensive discussion on the matter if that is what the DT is arguing for? Are you thinking that JSS was trying to deny JA's request to have the public go into the overflow room?

I'll bet this is the exact kind of thing in her allocution he is fighting right now, just like he had to fight to keep certain affidavits and statenents like "this trial was a witch hunt," out. Last time she told the jury her friend wouldn't come because her life was threatened. She shouldn't be allowed to tell them those things.

Afraid of what?! No one can come after her, To be honest, NO ONE CARES! Really. There is no one that wants to waste their time on her.

No idea about the thick folder but I wonder if Flores looks stressed because the state wasn't preparing for this right now. They were most likely preparing for the 3 remaining witnesses we all saw coming down the pike. Now they have to scramble to be prepared for an allocution and closing instead of Dr. F, Pseu, and Dworkin.

But that is just a guess.

I'd be inclined to agree with this, if the prosecutor was anyone other than Juan Martinez. I have a sneaking feeling that he could pull off a masterful closing that would leave us all in awe, off the top of his head. It might not be what he considered ideal, but it would still leave the courtroom floor quaking.

I'll bet he has been taking notes and building it mentally for months and months.

I remember the COA saying that sending the media to an overflow room could have been an option used. So JSS could do that. But ugh isn't the DT tired of playing these games and wasting everybody's time?

Tired of it.....no way, the longer the sidebars and arguments last, the more likely they'll loose more jurors. It's their "plan B" IMO

I have a major concern that, if this jury is not judicially sophisticated, they will not even realise that the empty courtroom is unprecedented for a defendant's testimony. They may even think that jury questions were not allowed of the defendant, and that's why theirs disappeared. Horrible can of worms was opened and is still squirming.

I don't know. I think it is a carp shoot at this point. I think that it is never a sure thing. Especially with this mess of a second "trial"

Today, I don't trust JSS to give her LWP. I just don't.

No, I agree they were asking to seal it again and when she said no probably moved their fight to overflow room. But, yeah, I think she just might have been refusing to do that too.

That makes me wonder if the dismissed jurors were Mormons...

Seems clear cameras must be on and volume up in the overflow room imo. And iirc allocution will be done by JA alone, without Willmott guiding the way as in her secret testimony.

I hope - if sent to the overflow room - cameras on.

It would be a shame if it's audio only.

But the way things have been going I'm not holding my breath.
