I'm so relieved for this day. After all the hard work, time, emotion, disruption and frustration, we are finally here. No matter what happens, the Alexander's can hopefully move forward with their lives. After today, the convicted murderer no longer has a platform. She no longer calls any shots, she no longer wears civilian clothing, she no longer has any hope. After today, she no longer makes any decisions on her own. The only people she can manipulate are people on the inside. No more trips in the sheriff's van. No more visits by people preparing her case.

No matter the verdict, her hope ends today.

Yes, hopefully. But if JA is sentenced to Life and somehow becomes eligible for release after 25 years or whatever it is, the Alexander family may find themselves in a similar role as Doris Tate (and later, her daughter(s)), fighting against JA's release. I hate that they may continue to be linked to this vile creature, but they may be. Hopefully a verdict of death will relieve them of that duty to their brother.
