Yeah, she seals everything including her reasoning. And we are supposed to believe once this trial is over she will unseal? Who is she kidding? It's as if she's lost the plot at this point.

Yes, hindsight2020, and I was convinced by Alyce LaV when she said she would not return and would not testify again. Of course, she also does have many reasons not to and her statement was definite.

Yes, hindsight2020, and I was convinced by Alyce LaV when she said she would not return and would not testify again. Of course, she also does have many reasons not to and her statement was definite.

I concur, in addition she was a poor witness for the defense, although, I think some folks did feel sorry for her, and it only takes one juror. It would be a crapshoot, but JA has nothing to lose at this juncture, we'll just have to wait to see who is the anonymous witness and what this side show is all about.

That's a very relevant question, blefuscu, but if you ask me, it has less to do with his specialization and more to do with his desire to WIN. He has known how hopeless defending JA is for years and has been trying to get off the case, but dammit, since he has had to persevere (I'm imagining here), the least he is owed is a win, correct?

He is not so much working to defend JA now because he wants to and believes in what he's doing. He has a private practice and wants to defend his reputation as an attorney.

Baez and Mason I despise because their wicked client got off with murdering a child. Their defense succeeded because the jury were as idiotic as they were. At least Arias has been convicted.

What really amazes me is how so many things work in her favor. Does her web cast that far out? Is this how evil works and spreads? Is she so mean smart and maniplative that she is controlling all this? Look at how many lives and circumstances she has effected. Its really unbelievable.

He's come across throughout this case as a sleaze ball. I call him Slurmy Nurmi because all the sexual questions he asks just creep me out. I wasn't surprised AT ALL when I googled him online and found his website specifically aimed at those accused of sexual crimes. He seems, well, letcherous to me. I really can't see how he can come out of this whole debarcle looking in any way good. I think he and Jennifer will probably be relieved once they see the back of CMJA

Could Nurmi have said that he and Wilmott's reputation would be scrutinized because he's trying to help JA get an appeal on ineffective counsel?

I don't see how that could happen since she fought so hard to keep him, but I don't understand the comment at all.

In every case there's a winner and a loser. It's how the game is played. He should have realized it was a bad case from the start...shees!
