#JodiArias the one good thing that came out yesterday is that JSS took a firm stance and made the defense go forward.

I feel for Samantha (and all of Travis' family). They have to sit through this performance again, where their dead brother has his reputation smeared by the defense, with no possibility for him to refute it, but there is absolutely NO evidence of any of the abuses that they allege. The worst thing Travis ever did was be a normal man, with normal sexual urges, who unfortunately got in a relationship with a complete psychopath.

They have bad mouthed him for years, yet her blatantly obvious stalking is downplayed. Her abuse of her family is downplayed. I wish someone could stand up and say "Prove all this! Prove he was a sexual deviant. Prove he was an abuser. Give us one singular shred of evidence that he was a paedophile. Just one!"

If it were my brother I would have literally battered her in the court room. The restraint and dignity shown by the Alexanders throughout this has been amazing and humbling.

IMHO, this DR. wasn't the secret witness. She is following up the "Secret Witness." This is just my opinion only, but I truly believe that JA was indeed the secret witness. And she most likely claimed all kinds of abuse while growing up. The Defense was setting the stage for this DR. to then testify.

They do live in an alternate reality, don't they? Apparently they are the ones slacking on their reading, a quick browse through JM's response ought to dash all their hopes (or at least make them hate him a little more for his phrase-turning abilities).

I suspect JSS will need a little meeting with Judge Duncan who had the case then to see what she recalls of those events, JSS wasn't involved then so has no first-hand knowledge of what occurred with the laptop.

No way they will read anything written by JM. But they did have links to Nurmi's brilliant motion.

Yep, Nurmi would like this trial to be ongoing into February when that hearing is to happen on that issue of the DP being tossed. Not only would the examination of the computer take weeks, the hearing on his motion to JSS will take weeks too...you know he will want to look individually at each and every one of the thousand files that were deleted. He will never agree to looking at it as a whole because that might be too efficient and thus would not waste enough time.

The joinder motion stated specifically cases joining could not be continued pending the outcome. Nurmi will want to find ways to get around that.

Of course he wants to look at each of the *advertiser censored* files.. <modsnip>

I just have to say something while we are waiting. One oddity that still rings in my mind is why Dr. DeMarte didn't diagnose Jodi Arias as a sociopath. I mean she clearly does have Borderline traits but these Axis 2 personality disorders often overlap and clearly she has slipped far in to the sociopathic realm (to me). Borderlines often have emotions all over the place and are high drama people--Jodi is scarier because she's so flat and unaffected. People ask her to leave a party or something and she casually sits in the kitchen calmly. She's clearly busted with photos of herself at the crime scene that she created and she sits there unflinching sliding right in to the next story seamlessly. This is all sociopathic behavior (and she's truly the worst I've ever seen). Scott Peterson also had that same bland blase attitude even when sentenced. They just don't feel things like normal people.

I guess I'm just really really wanting that term to uttered out loud in that courtroom by someone because, to me, it's the elephant in the room and someone has to call it.

Read a post last night that the whole point of this testimony is aimed at the old lady on the jury who will fall for the JA victim of Travis stuff. RELAX!
I am an old lady! Have kids the same age as JA and Travis...I know what goes on and I do not live under a rock! I am just as angry as the rest of you and believe that Travis was and continues to be the true victim here.
Once JM gets to cross, the old lady will realize the true story ..might have already figured it out
