Well until Chad is found I don't see how he possibly can be ruled out. The judge told him if he screwed up on probation he was facing life in prison...he has nothing to loose now, he has no reason to keep a victim alive or to turn himself in if he is not involved. JMO

I just got a response from the crimestoppers in the county I filed my tip to, they said if I am not happy with Marion County LE I need to file a complaint with Internal Affairs. LOL....Yuh think?

I'm concerned she was taken out of the area via a train, offended, and thrown in a remote area. If that is the case, please God No, she shouldn't be too far away from the tracks, but in bushes so engineers haven't spotted her.

As far as what mmanley said, Bill was not from florida and had no family here. He supposedly has family and a child in another state.

My impression of Chad is he is not the camping out type. I believe he is getting help and is hidden in somebodys house. All of his photos show him being very well groomed and mmanley confirmed that as well. Remember he went to jail at a young age and was there for 7 years. He only has been out since November so to me he hasn't had a lot of life experience to learn how to "live on the street"

Just because mmanley said this, she may have been lied to, Brad needs to be checked out in order to find Chad, imo. I think Brad encouraged, and assisted Chad out. He shouldn't be overlooked imo. We need to know more about him.
I agree that Chad is well groomed, which in Haliegh's case only further makes me suspect him. I don't know that LE has found any hair, dna of a perp, which is one reason they are focusing on Misty.
He may have learned from his arrest, and prison stay, to remove the child from the home this time. Not saying he did it, but he got caught because he stayed too long in the home, and assaulted in the home. To remove the victim from the home helps secure not getting caught next time.
I don't think he is still in the woods. I believe he has long since arrived at a safe haven that Brad told him of. If he took Haleigh, he did it in route of the safe haven. He is likely no longer at that place also. I believed he has well moved on from there. I'm concerned. He said he wished he could take back what he did, but he was only out 2 months before absconding. This is very concerning, imo

While I will admit that anything is possible, I do not think that CR has anything to do with Haleigh's disappearance. It is nothing more than my opinion.

CR spent 7 years out of his 10 year sentence in prison, didn't he? He was very young when he committed his crime. His offense included burglary with a weapon (knife) and during the burglary he used the knife to cut the panties of an 11 year old girl, then fondled her. This makes CR become an RSO.

Okay, Haleigh is five years old. Six year difference between his prior victim and Haleigh. This does not mean CR would be attracted to a five year old.
Now, some of the speculation is that CR may be acting for and with Haleigh's mother's side of the family and taking Haleigh for one of them - actually CS. Why would CR risk going back to prison for the remainder of his original sentence, plus some time added to it for violating his parole? CR is still young and had a job. He had finally gotten out of prison. Seems he had the support of his family after seeing pictures. Why would he risk his freedom as well as hurt and disappoint the family that stuck by him when he was in prison?

Of course every possibility has to be looked at when a child is missing and endangered. I am just one person who believes that CR had nothing to do with Haleigh's dissappearance. LE has stated that they do not believe it to be related.

As far as CR being missing, IMO he met with foul play, or either met up with an ex-inmate he had become friends with and simply split!

Yes, I have read every single thing. Yes, to me, everyone under 30 is young. I am 58. And I certainly did not say this was any different. You are not taking my post as it was written.

Please do not think I am taking up for CR in any way. I am not. His crime was thoroughly disgusting and if I had my way, he would have served more time than he did and no 'early out.'

And yes, you have every right to pursue this to the very end. I certainly never said you should not.

FWIW, LL, I agree. Anything is possible, and I could most certainly be wrong. I just don't think CR is responsible for Haleigh's disappearance, for all the reasons you stated. This guy, Bill, however? A very scary person, IMO. Mmanley is right to worry about him. She and her family are in my prayers.
