Her name was Phyllis, I'm 100% sure of it, I found her myself yesterday.

I think the confusion is that 2 different questions were asked. Who is the non-profit lady, and what is JB's wife's name. Phyllis is the woman tied to the non-profit (who knows someone with the last name Tangredi). Patti is John Bittrolff's wife.

Assistant District Attorney Robert Biancavilla said there's more than DNA that ties Bittrolff to the crimes.

Hmmmm. What might THAT be? Did he frequent the Blue Dawn Diner and drive a small blue car? Did he know both McNamee and Tangredi ? Did he leave fingerprints on something at the crime scene? Grrrr...this statement alone is going to torture me all night.

Assistant District Attorney Robert Biancavilla said there's more than DNA that ties Bittrolff to the crimes.
"Given this guy's comments when he was interviewed by the police, I think there's substantial evidence," Biancavilla said Wednesday.
He declined to describe what Bittrolff said. Tilis said he's unaware that his client said anything to police.

Bittrolff's dna matched semen found in both bodies. LE first focused on Timothy. Determined dna came from one of his brothers, John or Kevin. Started following them in January...collected DNA from cig butts tossed out and from trash. John's dna was obtained from a plastic cup found in his trash. Kevin's from a tossed cig butt. Kevin was ruled out, John was a match. John's attorney says that having sex with both victims doesn't equate to murder. LE says he made statements that were apprarently incriminating. Say there is more than dna that links JB to the crimes.

I'm sure it will come out if it goes to trial, but I wonder if whatever they have that is "more than DNA to link JB" is/are article(s) of what LE called "unique items of clothing"? And if so, I wonder where they found these items.
 
One thing I'm really curious about is why everything seems to be in his wife's name. She's listed as the only principal in the business, and someone else mentioned that tax records show she added him to the mortgage in 03. She is also the name that comes up when you google the phone number.

Makes me wonder if he expected to get caught at some point, and therefore didn't want anything in his name that could then be taken away from his family...or something else entirely... It just seems odd to me!

He could also have had a really hard time getting loans/credit due to his assault charges, DUI, and grand larceny charge. I'm sure that most lenders would have turned him down.
 
I wonder if his businesses were insured through his name or his wife's name?
