IMO she would have time to phone for help if the phone was in her clothing/bum bag. If she had been bitten, though, she may dropped her phone, and if she were in a bushy area with longish grass, she may not have been able to find it without foraging around. That would definitely be a very scary and dangerous thing to do, knowing a brown was right there and had already bitten her once. If that were the case, she may have decided to remain still/sit for a few minutes in the hope that it would move away, and then start looking for the phone. What's the phone reception like there? If she had of been bitten by a brown she would of likely had enough time up her sleeve to at least phone for help.
Phone reception IMO would depend where she was. Geographic features such as hills and treed areas can adversely affect reception.
