A bond hearing has been scheduled for Robinson for 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 10.
“Right now we are waiting for word on whether police have found her remains, but in the meantime, the family would like to have a vigil for her,” Jones said. “We talked to her mother and she would like the community to come together at the river and throw down her favorite flower: roses.”
The Solicitor's Office has not stated why the bond hearing has been cancelled nor when it will be rescheduled.
On Saturday, April 19, six agencies including: North Charleston, Williamsburg County, Horry County, DNR, Darlington County Fire and Rescue and the CUE Center will scour the river.
Sources said that after the helicopter searches the Pee Dee River for signs of Angie Pipkin, it will head to Georgetown County to search other missing persons.
The helicopter will be searching along the banks and areas where the water has receded.
Six different agencies are planning to join together to conduct a large search of the Pee Dee River for Angie Pipkin on Saturday. The search will include boats and divers who will search using side scan sonar. Thursday's aerial search will aid the teams on Saturday by mapping out the area.
Darlington County Sheriff Wayne Byrd said a search will be held Saturday to look for 32-year-old Angie Pipkin’s body.
“We will be working with the CUE Center, with the Department of Natural Resources and Horry County Police to search the Great Pee Dee River starting at the Cashua Ferry Landing on S.C. 34 in Darlington,” he said. “We will search both sides of the river as far as we can make it. We will also be working with the North Charleston Police Department who will be bringing a side scan sonar.”
Darlington County Sheriff Wayne Byrd said the search will happen Sunday and Monday at Kirven Landing on the Great Pee Dee river in Darlington County.
Byrd said the search for evidence in the Pipkin case will continue until something is found. "We are going to keep searching until we find something. I don't see us ever really giving up," said Byrd. Monday's search did not turn up any new leads, it's not clear when another will held.
Horry County Lt. Robert Kegler said investigators are responding as part of the missing persons investigation involving Angela Pipkin. According to Florence County Captain Mike Nunn, body parts were found in an area off Papermill Road, which is near the Great Pee Dee River.
