Not to justify anything whatsoever, but from other postings online, it looks like these adults may be carrying some of their own serious emotional scars. I'm so curious about how people get to be this way (and how such abuse might be spotted early, or potential abuse avoided). Some of these adults have expressed righteous anger at animal abuse by others. Go figure. What a horrible mess.

Awful . While usually I'm all about the why's leading up to criminal behavior, when it involves a child whose entire life sounds like a nightmare I DON'T CARE . I'm just glad she was rescued!

Yes, they are! I am thankful that the child services worker was paying attention and able to help these children get out of the situation. So horrible and sad to read the details.

Please god, let this child be in foster that is SAFE. I cannot handle victims being abused after rescue, yet again. Happens tooooo much.

I don't know. How did her father even get custody of her? He wished her mother would have had an abortion and even wished he could kill her.
