Faye was taken to the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston for an autopsy.

Faye’s body was brought back to Lexington for her funeral. The Charleston County Sheriff’s Department provided an escort, Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher said in a press release.

Faye Marie Swetlik Autopsy Information

Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has confirmed that the autopsy of Faye Marie Swetlik was completed on February 15, 2020. The preliminary results of that autopsy are not being released at this time out of respect for Faye’s family. They need privacy and time to process the information.

The findings regarding Faye’s autopsy will be released at a press conference to be held by Coroner Fisher and the Cayce Department of Public Safety on Tuesday, February 18, 2020. Information regarding the time and location of that press conference will be released at a later time.

The preliminary findings of the other autopsy conducted on February 15, 2020 will also be released at that time.

‘The Faye feeling’: Family friend describes warmth shared by 6-year-old Faye Swetlik

“It really warmed my heart that somebody could come together for all this. Because honestly I feel they don’t need to be alone because this is so devastating,” said MA, a friend of Faye’s grandmother.

“That feeling of somebody wrapping their arms around you -- that’s a Faye feeling,” she said.

MA describes Faye’s grandmother, RC, as a selfless person with, “a heart as big as the United States.”

She said Faye inherited her family’s giving spirit.

“Faye always wanted to help too. If there was something that needed to be done, Faye wanted to be a part of it,” MA said. “I’m happy to see how the community has came together with all this.”

Artists remember Faye Marie Swetlik

Only sadness for a child named Faye."

Andy Martin, a Columbia resident wrote that poem because like many, he was following the story of Faye Swetlik, “It was right after we found out that they found her and everything and I was feeling very sad. I realized that everybody in Columbia, in the state, pretty much even around the United States was feeling the same way I was despite any socio-, economic background, despite political, despite your religion, everybody- it was an equalizer.”

Over 600 miles away, police officer and composite sketch artist Jonny Castro also heard about 6-year-old Faye, “It’s national news, I remember hearing when she first disappeared and seeing it on the nightly news in Philadelphia and I’ve just been following it every day hoping for a positive outcome.”

Along with assisting his agency with composite sketches, Castro has drawn almost 600 portraits of fallen officers and victims for their families in his own time.

The following day, as the rain started, the community again came together to preserve the memorial of flowers, notes, candles, and stuffed animals.

Working together, nearly a dozen people covered the memorial with a tarp and a tent.

They told WIS they wanted to preserve this space that reminds them of Faye.

The listing also details nearby schools, including Springdale Elementary School where Faye was a first-grade student.

HB confirmed to DailyMail.com that the firm manages the property but would not confirm when Taylor moved in or how many people lived at the address.
