Just a reminder...

When your discussing anything from Heather's social media pages be sure you are linking to it as well. I am going to remove them if we don't have a link.

I can't link to a lot of her SM because I can't see alt of it since we originally found it. I could see some of it in the beginning but can't see virtually any of it now.

Um sadly I hadn't even heard of this. :( Does she have a thread here yet?

Me either, CarolinaAsh, guess that is why it's referred too as the silent epidemic, huh? I received the alert from a missing person org via email..
I checked to see if a websleuth missing person thread was available for more info. No, there isn't a thread for her yet. Would you be kind enough to open one, please?

Paris... no way would I post a pic of myself and an omm... jmo!

What I meant was, if Heather wanted to antagonize (or taunt) OMW, she wouldn't put *advertiser censored* on her Tumblr. She'd post a pic of herself with OMM.

Local LE is often at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to getting lab results. For one example, tens of thousands of rape kits have never been processed because labs are overloaded and local LE can't afford to send them in anyway. There aren't that many labs that can produce forensic quality results and they're all overloaded. Some of the crime shows do have their own labs, so it's entirely possible that they were able to perform tests that the local office would have had to wait months or years for.

And that varies from PD to PD. In the Sierra Lamar case in the little town of Morgan Hill CA, the Santa Clara Sheriff's Dept had results back fairly quick. Within a month, maybe, definitely within 2 months. And yet in another case I was just reading, it LE 5 months to obtain results.

Discussing Heather's sister is not allowed. She is a minor and family, not discussable.

I wonder if Le could have obtained fingerprints off the outside of the car. Maybe a suspect touched the bumper, car hood or some part on the car. Is that even plausible after a couple of days since TE took the car home.

How many woman here have gone though the "affair" stage with the husband? I mean, how many here have known about your OMM having an affair with a younger woman? If you have, you know the rage that pulses through your veins every time he goes out, gets a text you can't read, or is late coming home from work. You are aging and she is young, pretty, running after your husband and getting the attention that you should be getting, wouldn't that be enough to make you so mad you would see red? You have a home, children, money, jobs and a life you built together, are you mad that a 20 something is trying to get that and take it away from you? The fact he finds another woman attractive and desirable, are you seeing red yet? You don't have to answer, but I can tell you, there is a line that is crossed and you have to keep your rage in check, and it is very easy to cross over into a place of no return. Just saying. I think the HE is a victim of rage, of uncontrollable jealousy and it will be some time before she is found.

Oh my goodness, I think we are stereotyping 'aging' women here as the scorned hag who 'snaps'.

But I agree she's in a place that was so well thought out, it will take time to find her.

What peaks my curiosity is something that is seldom discussed in this thread.
In this link:

http://m.myhorrynews.com/news/local/aynor/article_e27b8722-81fa-11e3-a440-001a4bcf6878.html?mode=jqm

"The victim’s father also expressed concern to police about another man and possible coworker of Elvis “due to him possibly being abusive,” the report said.

According to the report, the victim’s father reported that the second man who was a possible coworker stated, “if she hides, he will find her.” "

The article states that according to the (police) report, "if she hides, he will find her."
I wonder what transpired for this possibly abusive co-worker to be in the police report...
IMOO.

I, too, have often wondered why this guy has been pretty much ignored in the umpteen bazillion pages we have here... obviously, it's easy to jump on the obvious- she was (at one point) seeing a married man who did have (probably the last) contact with her prior to her going missing. So yes, legit to question that situation. BUT! I have SO many questions about this Other Guy: LE has not claimed to have cleared him. What was their relationship? When did Heather last see/speak/text this OG? Why would he feel the need to find her? Why would she feel the need to hide? I think we are on the right path as far as OMM/OMW, but obviously, all avenues need to be explored.

Here's what also bothers me about the car.

As I understand it, the car was locked. If I was meeting someone and getting into their car, which presumably would be right next to mine, to talk, I don't think I'd lock my car, particularly if the sun was coming up.

And if I was going to go somewhere with someone, I don't think I'd drive all the way to an out of the way location to meet-up to go to another location.

I suppose it's possible she could have initially planned to go to PTL to meet and talk, then after the discussion started she agreed to go somewhere else that made sense to her at the time, so she locked her car before she left with the person.

But that seems like a lot of steps on the part of the person who drove off with her.

Already addressed this. If you have an alarm system, it becomes second nature to lock your car when you get out. "Chirp, chirp!"

You think its possible to get out and get in another car without realizing someones in the backseat.

absolutely, I already did it one time. Drove a drunk guy home; after he got into my back seat and hid under a blanket because he was cold and need to go to sleep. It was winter and when I got out, went into my apartment, I heard my car door slam, looked out the window and he was staggering around, not knowing where he was.

I think she either met someone some place and that person set her up, and then dumped the car at the Landing, or she went there, with the intent of going somewhere else with this person and she had a big surprise.

Not stereotyping anyone. I am just pointing out that people do snap. And all older women are not hags, wasn't saying that at all. I am older and I look darn good for my age.

I think she was set up to and I think the crime took place somewhere else. I agree PTL was just a dump or point.

I'm not sure what 'older' is given the ages we're discussing, but I don't think anyone 'snapped'. I think there are personality types and relationship dynamics that result in outcomes most people, regardless of gender, would not plot and carry out.

Any reason to discuss this stuff? Blue Print Cleanse

Purchased a GM SUV equipped with On Star a few years ago. Next day, my wife was driving down the expressway at 70 mph admiring all the buttons on the dash. She pushed one & a lady's voice said, "Yes Mrs Ada***, how can I help you"..
My wife almost evacuated the car at 70 mph:floorlaugh:..
