I would assume they did search before.. but TM or SM could have buried something afterwards

Interesting. I cannot wait to watch how this aspect specifically plays out.

This may be the reason some searchers were "attacked" when searching near the property and the report was filed!!!!

I have a feeling that OMM and OMW turned in edited video from their surveillance and HCPD finally brought in some experts that figured that out. MOO of course.

My thoughts were that they deleted certain stuff thinking that was it away for good. I reckon that the experts at the FBI retrieved the deleted elements of the tapes.

That's my feeling too. Someone probably thought since that area had been searched that LE wouldn't be back to search again. IMO.

My heart is breaking for those poor children. They were obviously removed from their home which very well may be a crime scene. Innocent bystanders like so many others in this case

One of the early reports said that LE was going through many hours of video tapes - there are cameras all over but I don't know how much they would pick up at night. Maybe a home on PT had a video of the highway? Could be multiple things that finally added up enough for an arrest?

The arrest may very well be business/finance/tax related - an attempt to give the M*** family an incentive to share what they know about Heather's disappearance. With two businesses, they had better been extremely careful in their financial dealings in the past. Now LE/SLED and all the other agencies involved in the investigation have certainly been poring over everything associated with them.

If he had nothing to do with her disappearance, then maybe somebody was trying to shut him up so that he wouldn't spill the beans? Maybe they wanted to scare him. Maybe he does know more?
IMOO.

I floated that possibility last night. I hope SM shares everything he knows and comes clean. Heather cared about him and trusted him and he needs to do whatever he can to give her family answers.

Oh my gosh I'm literally in tears right now watching this unfold. I keep thinking of how the Elvis Family must feel. We've all known she probably is flying high with the angels but seeing this unfold makes it REAL, not just an opinion or assumption. Part of me wants them to find her to bring peace to her soul and family but the other part doesn't want them to find her because that will obviously mean she is no longer with us. I just don't know what to hope so I will just watch...and cry....and pray....
