Alex Murdaugh: Timeline of murders, financial fraud, unexplained deaths and arrest

Alex Murdaugh indicted on murder charges: A summary and timeline

Interesting that none of the officers or detectives who were at the murder scene, went into the house. Did they need a search warrant? Why didn't they get one?

Because on the cross examination of Blanca, she indicated that she came to work, and cleaned the bathroom, where AM, it appears, took a shower, changed clothes the previous night. The police never checked out the house?!

I had that same thought... like she was annoyed.
All about ' I can't get her up'..Meanwhile, last thing you'd think of if a normal person, she fell on the stairs, somehow and was bleeeeeeeeeeeeeeding and unable to speak it sounded. I'd NOT be wanting or trying to get someone in her condition UP. I'd be frantically worried about her and hoping the ambulance got there asap. DEAR GOD. Her comments so jarred me knowing the condtion of Mrs. Satterfield and I think that was from the words of Paul M. to the dispatcher. MM, "I can't get her up .....'

Lots of buzz in Walterboro, S.C. tonight about Alex Murdaugh allegedly having a stroke/ being hospitalized. Sources close to the disbarred attorney tell us this rumor is NOT TRUE. Nothing in this case would surprise me, but Murdaugh camp saying this is NOT TRUE #MurdaughTrial
HE BETTER OF NOT. But that came from somewhere.

From what I'm seeing online, when someone goes to detox from opioids, the doctors usually wean the patient off the drugs rather than having them go cold turkey. I can't imagine you could go from 2,000 mg a day to nothing in the seven days he said it took. The addict story doesn't hold up for me, which makes me wonder what he was doing with all those pills. Selling? Dealing?
You are correct. It's finding the dose. Dose is usually overstated upon entry. That's why tox screens are done.
We had a lot of heart attacks in the late 70's before addicts were weaned properly. The amount of medication would be put in orange juice so the patient wouldn't know when doses were changed. I never worked in detox. But a friend did.
We'd get the cardiac arrests in the ER from people willingly or unwillingly withdrawing. (not able to afford or find drugs on the street). It's a horrible and life changing event to witness someone withdrawing from drugs/alcohol, especially the babies.

A sponsor or another member at a treatment facility would NEVER be able to say they were in treatment with him. That is a HUGE no-no in the recovery community

It’s happened before. I can’t recall the exact details at the moment but I’ve seen it twice. One was a call in who wanted to remain anonymous but was vetted and verified through the network.

I'm wondering if AM should be watched closely while in jail. I wonder if there'll be an emotional break (a real one) or some other shenanigans for sympathy. The jury not being sequestered may allow them to hear about it. Just random thoughts. There are those who kill themselves to avoid justice. I guess everything depends on how he thinks things are going. I feel so cynical of every move that man makes because of all of the terrible things he's done (most of the time), but then I feel bad for him and I want to kick myself. Just ramblings...

A thought about why the house at Moselle wasn't roped off as a crime scene. Look at this drone footage of Moselle ( it's in the 2nd half of the video) IF police were to tape off and secure the house they would also have had to tape off and secure the fields and woods. They would need a whole lot of people to secure all that real estate. They didn't have the personnel to do that. At some point they needed to make a decision on what they could secure and what wasn't possible.

Of course Alex calling every person he knew to come out to the farm didn't help. I don't know what the rules are for how big an area of a crime scene is limited to. Just seems like it wasn't feasible to secure the whole farm. Remember this place is out in the middle of nowhere. There aren't many officers in the local police force to call on to come out to the scene of the crime. Just thinking out loud here.

And AM was SO PREPARED. I don’t doubt that he’s never prepared this much for anything in his life. He was ready with, and by golly was going to insert, his “version” of events after studying every single detail of the evidence.

How do you score points with an egomaniacal, narcissistic liar who’s had access to every bit of your info? I think CW did as well as possible considering what he had to work with. And he got Alex to screw up a time or two, maybe more that I didn’t catch. But CW made his points, as painful as it was to extract.

What stood out to me immediately was the Pau Pau and Mags moment (specifically the first time he mentioned it). It was in the very beginning and it was purposely to set the tone and disarm the jury at the onset. ‘I love my family so much and would never hurt them’ theme. It was not only the never before heard pet names but also the tone of voice when he said it.

The problem with it was that he came off as a complete phony. I literally leaned into the screen because it was bizarre to me. It was like Timmy coming to life. We here have been following so we know he doesn’t speak like that. It may not be as easy for the jury to recognize that but even if I hadn’t followed the case from the beginning I think I would have seen he was phony.
