The responding deputy noted in the incident report the custodial parents seemed "very concerned on the whereabouts of the juveniles, and were very forthcoming with any information that they were able to provide." The same deputy noted, however, the birth parents "did not appear to be very worried about the location of the juveniles and continued to be concerned about missing their ride back to Columbia."
The children's grandmother said she had arrived home from work and the children came up to her yelling because they were happy to see she was home. She went inside to change clothes, and while in the house, her daughter came in and asked if she knew where the children were. The grandmother told authorities she thought her daughter was just joking and did not take it seriously. She then said her brother came and asked again if she knew where they children were because they were missing.
At that point, the grandmother walked outside and started looking for the kids and said everybody on the street also began to search.

Those poor children are being taken away from their families and put into foster care with strangers because someone wanted to make someone else look bad? It's my opinion that they (LE, CPS, etc) are not going to let any relatives care for the children based on the situation, it's probably best but I feel so bad for those kids.
I hope all the adults and parents get themselves straight and figure out a solution to keeping these kids safe while still staying with their family.

I'm so glad they were found alive. I hope they figure out who took them, and charge that person criminally, and that person has to pay restitution for the resources used in the search.

Deputies named 3-year-old Eugene's birth parents, Alexis Jones and Eugene McTeer, as persons of interest in the case. Both live in Columbia.
The missing boy's custodial father Willie Williams said that he thinks the children were taken by young Eugene's birth parents as part of a custody dispute. Williams says he's had custody of Eugene for more than two years and wants to have the boy back in his care.

I am :stormingmad: over here! There precious babies deserve a stable, loving and above all SAFE home to grow up and flourish in.
How can they possibly even know what that is amidst such chaos? The "adults" are supposed to make the decisions based on the best interests of the children, FCOL!
If LE has enough evidence that we are here, at this juncture, then something is really REALLY wrong. Granted, they've not been named as formal suspects yet, nor been arrested. However, the cloud of suspicion is darkening. I hope to be wrong.
Just one look at those precious three children made my heart hurt. How any parent would not move heaven and earth to do right by them, and have them in their lives, is beyond me.

I'm not totally getting what they wanted to accomplish. Did they hide the children to make their guardian look unfit so that custody of their boy would be returned to them??

That is what I am understanding so if you are wrong, I am right there with you. I do not understand how they thought they would get away with it! I think Judge Mathis would ask if they were crackheads because of that line of thinking.

I just want to clarify something we discussed earlier about the legal guardian's account of the children's daily lives involving the school bus:
Like clockwork every weekday, a bus drops kids off at a Bent Gate Lane home. Most days, 4-year-old Myra and 3-year-old Eugene are on board while 2-year-old Shamyra waits for them at the end of the driveway with Williams.

Where were Eugene's parents the night the children were missing? I don't think we have heard yet.
From the pictures/videos it looks like the vacant trailer was next door - nothing between the place the children stayed and this vacant trailer where they were found. Somebody sure had the nerve to put these children inside this vacant trailer while LE was around. I figure at least one LE stayed on watch at the families house during the night.

I assume, since they were in a rush to go to Columbia when the children were missing, that they live there and were either visiting that day (announced or unannounced) or were in town for a period of time. Maybe we'll find out more after they talk to the kids this weekend.
I'm thinking the parents somehow medicated the kids where they were slept in the closet and woke up in the morning, crying, hungry, etc.?

In the raw video with the adult cousin in the trailer they were found in it shows a knob on the inside of the closet door and not on the outside. I'm guessing it does not turn since it is broken . This trailer should have been boarded up and condemned as a hazard . It had to be someone with knowledge of this area as it is so close to other homes. Hoping the best for these babies.
