Oh crap. I’m just seeing that’s he’s the lead singer for Frightened Rabbit. How awful, he makes such good music.

Bandmate and brother Grant, 33, said the singer phoned a friend to say he was 'feeling low' and wanted to be left alone
It comes as missing person cops revealed they were studying CCTV footage of someone walking towards the Forth Road Bridge – close to where Scott, 36, was last seen.

The musician vanished from South Queensferry’s Dakota Hotel at 1am on Wednesday after posting a tweet saying: “I’m away now.”

Speaking yesterday at the scene alongside older sibling Neil, Grant said: “On Tuesday night I got a call from the last person he spoke to, and hearing what he said was very distressing.

“It was along the same line as his tweets. He told the friend that he was feeling low and it was in line with his tweets.

“He didn’t want anyone to know where he was and he didn’t want anyone to contact him.

“He’s never done that before. In the past he would go off map but contact us to say he was okay.

“What he was saying wasn’t great but the fact is he reached out.”

Body found in search for missing singer Scott Hutchison

Police searching for missing Frightened Rabbit singer Scott Hutchison have found the body of a man near South Queensferry.
The discovery was made at Port Edgar at about 20:30 on Thursday.
Formal identification is yet to take place but Mr Hutchison's family have been informed.

I'm gutted. When I was going through a dark time, Frightened Rabbit made me feel like I wasn't alone. I wish that he could have felt like there were other options, though I know it's never that easy.

As the Daily Mail notes, the Forth Road Bridge location had significance to Hutchison: On Frightened Rabbit's "Floating in the Forth," from 2008's The Midnight Organ Fight, Hutchison weighed jumping into the water to find "peace."

"And fully clothed, I float away. Down the Forth, into the sea. Am I ready to leap Is there peace beneath the roar of the Forth Road Bridge?," Hutchison sang before concluding at track's end, "I think I'll save suicide for another year."
