Hi everyone! FWIW, Just thought I'd chime in on the creek. Like many of us, when he first went missing "he's in the water" was my initial reaction. I looked at maps and videos and every photo I could find of the creek and came to the conclusion that there is no way he could be in the creek. At the time he went missing it was very shallow, with the deepest spots being about knee deep. (as shown in the photo Raymonde posted above.) There was so much debris in the water that his little body could not be washed downstream. The searchers thoroughly checked any of the deeper holes and under all the rocks and fallen branches in the area. If he had fallen into the creek and drowned he would have been found right away, unless somebody moved him.
IMO
Yes , there are places where the creek is only 4 inches deep with a smooth bottom , but there are places where it was hip deep and the bottom is full of huge boulders. We covered that on the old threads which were shut down because they descended into utter insanity.
I do think you are correct he would not get washed downstream very far because of all the logs and debris so it would depend on where he entered the creek , if indeed he went into the creek at all , sounds unlikely at this point but stranger things have happened .
For example in March of this year a 2 year old disappeared from his farm yard , the main concern and focus was on a small creek 1/3 of a mile away , 30,000 man hours were spent searching the area including several professional dive teams in the creek.
After several days the word abduction began to pop up. There were even some murmurs about the parents ..... until 4 days later the boy was found submerged under water caught in small trees and debris
