The funny thing with this email is that it was altered during the trial.

This is from day 48; start at 2:49 to 2:50:18. You will see that part of the email was whited out during the side bench conference - objection made by defense.

And I wonder in what WAY does it hurt people. Whatever was deleted, the DT argued long and hard - had to be very prejudicial to JA. Boy, things we just don't know about with this case.

I think we know a lot more then I ever thought we would, thanks in large part to this work done by Hope. I think she absolutely, with Gus' help somehow (but how?) destroyed Travis chance of being named regional director in AZ- just have to run it past someone who might know if that was even possible.

February 14, 2007. What does Travis have to be angry about, what terrible thing has happened that he would also have had to tell her about-she's in Palm Desert, that would warrant that email? Nothing. He's successful and happy and not yet in her clutches.

February 14, 2008. What does Travis have to be angry about? Lisa's tires just got slashed on the 10th. Third tire slashing. Beyond everything else, he can't afford this destruction. He's broke. And he knows this is probably it for his relationship with Lisa.

Am I certain she wrote it in 2008 rather than 2007? Pretty much, though it can't be proven, or JM would have done so. Her writing such a thing after she's caused him the damage, though, is exactly her MO.

Travis- have you seen my diamond ring? Killer- what diamond ring? Oh. Why yes. Sorry about that. It must have caused you so much stress when you realized it was missing.

Travis- I just noticed that another journal of mine is missing. My journals are irreplaceable to me. If you took them I am begging you to give them back. I'll do just about anything. Killer- Oh my. That is the most heart felt plea I've ever heard anyone make. I so wish it was in my power to help you and ease your pain. But no, I don't have them of course. Maybe they will turn up someday. I doubt it, but stranger things have happened.

And those are the very closely paraphrased words she actually used to toy with him and enjoy his pain.



ETA- a paragraph out of the February timeline I've almost completed rewriting- relating to the texts she sent him late Feb 13th through the 14, 2008.


February 13 late night, February 14.

The killer is texting Travis about how much she appreciates him, how wonderful he is, that he is such a blessing in her life. Later, she sends a (not) jokey complaint that Travis isn’t horny, frownie face frownie face. Late afternoon, he still hasn’t texted her once, she sends a "reminder" for him to call her.

Later, she texts that he is in her prayers, to let her know if there is anything she can do. Later still, a call me!! Travis texts her for the first time that day—I’m busy!! What’s up???? She tells him- go look at that sunset!

What day is it? Valentine’s Day. He has a date with Lisa that night....

Does anyone have a link to the February 14 2006 email the killer sent Travis? It was introduced into evidence trial 1. It's the one about her temper, etc. and the day she gave for the spiderman underwear lie.

I was just reading through that letter and she's talking about having just called Darryl, giving him the number to the mortgage lender - wasn't she still living with him in Feb. 2007 in that very house? In the letter right below it (to Abe, written 4 days after V. Day 2007) she tells Abe she isn't T's girlfriend, that they aren't in 'a committed relationship' - huh, I thought she said they were "officially dating" from Feb. 2nd or 4th until doomsday June 29, '07?

Anyway, I do agree with you that her V Day letter to Travis could not have been written in '07, it had to be '08. Must be why there's an empty 'BCC' on the header, she managed a way to carbon copy it to herself after changing the year and saving that one without it looking like it was messed with. I don't do that so can't lay out the steps but what else could that blank BCC be for?

That email was supposedly sent to him on Feb 14 , 2007. (Sorry, wrote 2006) according to testimony during trial. When he sent her a vday package? She must have said 2007. Why else send her a package??

LIE! Though. I'm really sure that email was sent on Feb 14, 2008. And it came right after she slashed tires for the 3rd time, among other acts of hatred.

She connected spider man underwear with feb 14 because she set out a week later, in 2008, to ruin him with that idea. And others.

Yes, the spiderman undies don't seem to have belonged at all to 2007. The whole Spiderman thing was like a motif that kept randomly showing up for no apparent reason.

I don't even think they were Spiderman-intimate enough to have this motif be likely in February 2007. There was no lead up or subsequent jollies.

Jodi often used elements of truth in her lies. I still think the story she created about coming in on him masturbating to a photo of a boy was based on the fact that she surprised him on the murder day when he was in his room getting his jollies, no Jodi necessary. And that the sex shots of Travis were at that moment or from a similar moment when Jodi had walked in on him.

No doubt she was especially aggrieved that he had found creative ways to use KY that didn't involve her.

Where is that email, though? I couldn't pull up the blog spot.

I've been looking for weeks for a screen shot of her MySpace page where TA supposedly left msg about raising hotness factor in Yreka blah blah. All that is gone from MS now, but...there it is in that photobucket link! Wow! Thank you!!!!

I'm going to check the time given on the email against the text record for 2/14/08, but if she changed the date she could just as easily changed the time as well.

The one I mistakenly linked (her complaining about not getting editing credit) didn't have a BCC but it did have "Delivered-To:jodiarias@hotmail.com", I've never seen that at the bottom of a header, lemme think if I can recall any other mails we know about.

That email never did make sense to me. She barely knows him, they're not in a relationship of any kind...and really? She's going to talk to him about his intimidating anger? So a lie.

The house with Darryl she skipped out on foreclosed in late January 2008. Sure Darryl called her somewhere in there (to tell her it was official ?)as she said to Travis in the email. She had just ruined D's credit for years.

So at the very same time her house was foreclosed upon, Travis told her to get the hay out of Mesa. End of January, 2008.


Read the email (Geevee linked to it above) from the perspective of it being 2008, not 2007. And...it's been 3 days after tires have been slashed for the third time.

And BTW? He didn't tell her Happy Valentine's day this year either - though my oh my it wasn't for lack of her trying every manipulative trick in the book to get him do so.

You are totally right. The Feb 14 2007 letter does not belong before the Feb 18 letter to Abe. We know that letter was a fiction intended to make TA jealous. This situation would not have existed if the junk in the Feb 14 letter had already taken place.

She didn't call him Baby 'til later, right?

What do you think about the possibility that she never sent the Feb 14 letter, either? That it was another fiction? It was intended to be found and not by TA. Who did she "by mistake" send this one to?

Also, TA tells Sky "I adore Jodi. In fact, I don't know if it has ever been easier to be nice to someone as it is with Jodi". He is using this as a defense that because of Sky, he looks like a man with a dark side. He's saying there is no dark side when it comes to Jodi, 'cos all I want to do is be nice to her.

"Adore" doesn't at all equate to "love" or "I want to be around her all the time." IMO it has the same meaning as when you describe a mutual friend: "Don't you just love her?"

This "nice" phrasing doesn't mean "I like being around her". It means, "we have a superficial and easy relationship, and there's nothing to indicate I'll do anything evil to mess it up." I don't think "nice" is how TA describes himself around women like Lisa and Mimi does he? It's just such a banal word: it's how you describe relationships with colleagues at work or a 5-minute first date, people you don't know very well.

This whole phrasing of Travis' makes clear to me that this was not a serious relationship and was never going to be.

The April "stalker" letter suggests Jodi is trying to manipulate TA into caring more about her. This is not the sign of a serious relationship: it's a sign of a broken relationship.

It sure fits with 2008 - what was she doing at the same time frame for 2007, difficult to find at Beth's site? How about Travis, is there a complete text/email/etc. record for then?
