No worries! I knew what you meant. You would be shocked at the costs of running a practice and the reimbursement rates. When you go to the store and buy a gallon of milk and they charge $4.00, you are expected to pay the store $4. Imagine if you only paid $1, the store would have to eat the $3, yet still keep the lights on, pay employees, etc. That is kinda where we are in medicine. Dentists and vets are the ones making the money! I wish my husband was a specialist sometimes as their reimbursement rates are higher, but my husband loves what he does and is excellent at it. How many of us can say we love what we do. We don't live large, rarely take a vacation, but we are happy. I am sure if I was less expensive, we would be joyous! :floorlaugh:

BBM

I love animals and all, but that's pretty sad that treating an animal pays more (in essence, saying is worth more??) than treating a human.

OMG that thing looks scary! Do you see the claws?? Like cude and cuddly and then all of sudden, eeeeeeekkkkk.

YoN, I have NOT had the 1st cramp since you gave me advice, Thank you!:seeya:

I did something really stupid. If it sounds to good to be true it probably is. I bought a lot of 3 Benefit They're Real Mascara from ebay. 1 goes for 23 dollars in the stores. I guess I should of known better. The product came today and although the box looks authentic what was in it was not, as I do have the real deal. I compared what I was sold to what I do have from the store. With the package came a note and I will paraphrase. The seller said that he saw I was new to ebay (which I am not). He said if I was not satisfied to contact him and not to leave him negative feedback. He would refund me and I could keep the product, so I wrote him back and said I wanted my money returned to my account by Saturday. His reply was basically the same, promise me you will not leave negative feedback and I will refund the entire amount and you keep the product. I told him I would not leave negative feedback if I get the money back and told him he should inform his customers his product is not authentic. I also said I would report him if he did not comply. This seller has a 100 percent track record as a seller on ebay and he is doing this by being sly and deceitful. He has yet to reply back.

ugh that sucks! i love Benefit products. They have wonderful blushes and awesome cream eyeshadows that last all day! i also love their cheek/lip stain (i used it during labor and it still looked great in all the pics afterwards!) i always put a clear gloss over it as well. haven't tried their mascara yet but that will be my next thing. i would order them online from sephora or ulta. I am a sephora junkie though, I could easily spend 500 bucks in one trip to the store which is why i avoid it unless i really need something! according to my husband i'm a "make up hoarder" hahahaha

My daughter is a makeup hoarder. She has a vanity full, makeup cases full and a plastic container with drawers full. She has a cup full of different mascaras, a boatload of unused eye shadows, eyepencils, lip glosses. She is also the one who brought me in a store the other day called Ultra that sells every kind of makeup to pharmacy brand to the high priced one. Dangerous store. I wont be going there much. I like the Benefit mascara. It makes your lashes dark, look full, does not clump and stays on. It needs Vaseline to come off.

I've been trying to find the long-range prediction for this coming Winter. The weather here this past few weeks have been just like Fall weather and I'm worried about the coming Winter. I'm having a hard time finding this info.

I agree with you about the weather. Here in CT, I feel like I've been robbed of a month of summer! Even June was warmer than this August; daytime highs have only been in the mid 70's and night time temps have been dipping down into the low 50's. What gives?

Just hope that my corn and tomatoes ripen in the garden...they really like the hotter weather more.

That's funny about your 2 year old. My 5 year old grand daughter tells me she has a boyfriend. LOL Kids are funny.

I feel like I have been robbed also. I long for summer all winter long, hoping it will be a long, hot season. Next week it is suppose to approach 90 and I am looking forward to that.

Come on down here to Houston Ricki, we have heat to spare! lol We've had mostly 99 degree days since April, and hardly any rain. I cannot wait for the first cool breeze of Fall, and hopefully some wet will come with it. :)

I read a story the other day, where a lady bought 2 apple (ipads). She gave $1200 dollars. When she got the boxes they had two apple(fruit) in them. :(

I forgot what it was she told you to get. My daughter has leg cramps all the time.

I had to run & look at the bottle Lamby. It's ,Gluconate (595 mg) and it's awesome!

Stopped at the library today after work and checked out 2 books....Jaycee Dugard's book and Sharon Rocha's book about Laci. Excited to read both, not sure which to start first!

Rocha's book is excellent!

I thought the one by Scott's sister was excellent. I'm sorry it's been awhile I forget her name I will go google and link for you.

Blood Brother By Anne Bird Excellent insight into the case and SP.

Sorry whole thread OT lol! Does anyone know when next court hearing is, I thought something was today.

There was court on the 16th but of July. The next, a pretrial conference, is August 26.

Yo peeps! :seeya: I got my cable/internet turned back on today and I'm SO thrilled! Still feel like death though. Went to the ER tonight as a last resort. Got a steroid shot in my booty and another breathing treatment. Taking tomorrow off from work.

Off to catch up on the many pages I've missed out on, looks like it's bare bones in here tonight. Don't make me go update my match.com dating profile out of boredom! :please:

M, I got a steroid shot in my rear end too. I had never had a steroid shot before but I think it really helped.

Rest up, you don't want to be sick over the weekend. Hope you are feeling better today. I am 100 percent recovered from the bronchitis.
