It's early yet, so a slower tune is reasonable.

The Osmonds (video) Down By The Lazy River Ohio (night) 1972 - YouTube

LOL Yep I did. Plastered all over my room. My Parents were re carpeting the house and each of us got to choose the color for our bedrooms. I chose a dark purple cuz it was Donny's fave color. Wowsers what a trip down memory lane. Then there was Davey Jones and the Monkees sigh....

I am still way behind on the last thread, but wanted to give a shout out to ILikeToBendPages (which, by the way, I love that name) for the Joe Bonamassa.

My musician friends have been raving about him for years, and I had never seen a video. He is awesome!

You do realize you're going to have to fight the Divine Ms. K for him, right?

Thought i would share my worst music related experience. My Sister luved Elvis. Me not so much. No "maters" please :scared: It was constantly blasting from her bedroom. About 3 years ago I had a work thingy in Memphis. We had some Comp tours worked in. One was to Graceland. I went along with the Group and put a smile on my face. Stood in line to see the Grave in the blazing sun, heat and oppressive humidity!!!! It took forever as people appeared to be at a wailing wall. Then our Town Car broke down on the way back and we were an hour on the highway waiting for another car. Again sweating like banshees. I kept my smile on. When i told my Sister the story she laughed and said I was bad Karma.

To Vivian, thank you for the Extreme video. Forgot about them!

Love this one too.

And to cubbeegirl - thank you for the Grand Funk Railroad.

Absolutely loved them since I was a kid. "I'm Your Captain" was the greatest.

That's right. Having harbored less than positive thought, you incurred the royal wrath of the King.

I must add to my above Memphis story. When we were stranded on the highway we got a taste of Southern Hospitality. A young couple stopped and asked if they could be of assistance. We stated we had another car en route. They asked if we had water and we stated No we had finished what we had. Down the road they went and brought us back water and snacks. We insisted on paying but they wouldn't have it. Luv Southerners!!!

ahhhh memories of the skating rink...

I was the oldest, the only boy, and had four younger sisters. They went down to the skating rink regularly and came back pumped up for more Osmond/Partridge mania. There were vicious fights over the intended bride for David, Donny, and eventually Davey -- and don't forget Bobby Sherman, because there were near riots over that around here.
