In two short sentences Wednesday, Jodi Arias gave up her intent to defend herself against the death penalty in her upcoming retrial.

"I hereby relinquish my pro per status and reassert my 6th amendment right to counsel," she wrote. "I am also requesting to make a brief record ex parte."

If she had started with "Oops, my bad" it could have been three short sentences.

I read the AZcentral article. At the bottom is a picture of Travis likely dying in the shower and the reporter states that TA took raw and naked pictures of Jodi...as if she was taken advantage of. I think this is Michael Keifer's article and he needs to get a clue! Jodi offered herself up. Hence her nickname, three hole wonder. She is no innocent babe.

Also neglecting to take into consideration the very likely possibility that Jodi took that last bunch herself, with a timer.

But regardless of anything Travis may or may not have done, he was never even remotely a threat to Jodi's life and she had absolutely zero justification for savagely murdering him. How can anyone, a journalist no less, still be in any doubt about this?

That is what I think as well. Either her main witnesses failed to show up at all OR finally realized they had better not lie for her.

This is definitely a possibility. We knew she was going after witnesses to corroborate the abuse. The abuse that never happened. And we know the interviews happened this week, where Juan most certainly made it very clear he had their number and wouldn't let the lies slide, thus Jodi's reluctance to have them interviewed. So, you just might be right on target! Either they failed to show up because they realized the gravity of what lying would mean, or they folded under pressure. And Jodi folds.

Oh my goodness, it knew she would change her mind. I thought it would be closer to the trial date, but I am figuring the murderess is beginning to realize her number's up & it 's time to pay the piper. Reality setting in - right about now! Tired of the drama is correct! As is JSS, JM, the Alexander family, & everyone else. Maybe now she will realize that she's not that special AT ALL! I hope she is squirming in her cell right now. I don't think there will be any more delays, as she received almost a month playing her stupid game. I think she planned this as well... Too bad JA, the train is almost at the station. This is too ridiculous.

I hate all the sealed stuff, too. There are times when sealing documents is appropriate--cases dealing with minors, for example, or possibly a mental health evaluation of a defendant or a witness--but the case of a convicted murderer whose current court business deals with her penalty for that crime, I can neither understand nor accept everything needing to happen under a cloak of secrecy.

Gosh, no friggin kidding. She's a novice. She's the best one man PR team I have ever seen, and I'm not eve kidding. Even in solitary confinement she can get a multitude of supporters to do her dirty work.
