I don't want to see them again- they are etched in my mind- forever- and I can't seem to get those pics of Travis out of my head. I know every single one and every single stab wound. :scared:

I'm starting to "see" missy murdering Travis again- right before I fall asleep- just like last year. It took a long time for those images to stop, but now
they are back again. Terrible. :scared::scared:

Shot First?
Willmott is questioning Horn about a conversation she claims he had with Flores on August 6 2009, during which he supposedly said Alexander had been shot first. Horn said he does not remember having that conversation.

10:55 A bullet has a concussive effect on the brain. Usually, person is immediately unconscious. Wound to the chest (pierced heart) was fatal but not immediately fatal–would not go immediately unconscious. Throat injury was rapidly fatal–would have gone unconscious but would take a few seconds. Sequence of injuries: He would have been able to put up a fight with the stab wounds so that was likely the first wound. Objection. Sustained. If gunshot was first, less likely he could have put up a struggle. Horn believes the knife injuries came before the gunshot. Says the gunshot was last

recollection of any conversations with Flores. He doesn’t recall telling Flores that the gunshot wound was first. He has not spoken with Flores since last year’s trial.
11:20 Horn is on cross by Willmott. She’s examining him about prior inconsistent statements he made before the first trial. He said the shot the head would not have rendered Travis unconscious. (NOTE from Beth: The order of wounds–whether the gunshot was first or last–has been an issue in the case since the beginning. Regardless of the dispute, the jury last year still found that the murder was premeditated, and still found that the existence of the aggravator, especially cruel.) Attorneys are at sidebar.

11:30 Willmott continues to stay on the gunshot wound issue. Scalp wounds–lacerations and cuts–bleed a lot. Bullet will cause bleeding along its path. The bullet lodged in Travis’s left cheek–it did not go through his mouth. Bullet went through sinuses. Sinuses drain into the mouth. (NOTE from Beth: It appears Willmott is suggesting the gunshot was first, and there was bleeding into Travis’s mouth which he then spit into the sink.)
