So sorry for the loss of Max, your beloved fur person, Kensie. It has been a long time since I lost a dog. It will kill me when it happens to mine. They are my children. Both rescued too! Im thinking of you! (((((hugs)))))

I'm still heartbroken over losing my little pug Zoey~~a year in January and it still hurts. Take care
 
So sorry to hear the news Kensie about Max but also glad to hear you rescued him and gave him a wonderful life.

I've been there before as others have and there are not many words that can try to help comfort during this time although to mainly let you know we do care and share in your sorrow.

One thing I learned that helped me when my last dog passed was I watched a lot of Utube videos of people that had lost pets and there were some people that did get a visit of their passed pet in spirit form. That surprised me and I was happy to hear about that as it gave me comfort and assurance that we will get to see them on the other side when its our time to join them.

Our DeeDee came home to me. I could see her , but saw through her..So comforting!
 
Lost my little Ben almost four years ago and I still miss him every day. Ben was raised with my children and he was and is a Furrchild to me.Have a rescue baby now. Helps, will always miss Ben.... I have had three incidents from Ben over the years. Ben isn't with me but he has showed me he's near. You will see your loved pet...I have no doubts. Hugs,

Today I spent the day with my daughter. Her best guy Ottis died last night. My daughter is 36 and Ottis is 18. He also is a rescue dog. Ottis looks just like a polar bear, pure white. She has no children, so he truly is her baby. I think back to when she got him, she was only 18 years old then, it is so sad. Her heart is broken, we just made him a new doggie bed and cover, he loved it. She was so upset because she didn’t kiss him goodbye when she left last night. I told her it’s not the one time you didn’t kiss him, it’s all the millions of times you did kiss him. He was loved so very much, she took such really good care of him. I wish I had magic words to take away her hurt. Kensie I’m so sorry for you And Max.
