On BK's site, CMJA held up the court for 24 minutes, (13:30 -13:54, may have been longer because they were to start at 1:25 or 13:25) she made her grand appearance as DeMarte was call ed the stand by the Judge. I'll listen to Beth's video blog to see if I can get more info......because LinusK is no where to be found!!!!:tantrum:

I think I dropped by at just the right time. :D

The hissy fit thing....LinusK was probably referring to one of my posts on the main thread. I pieced together the timing of JA's tweet with what was happening in the courtroom.

recap: Tweet went out 7 minutes after court was to resume following lunch. JA was in backroom. Nurmi was in courtroom. Bailiff and her guard were talking to JSS. Ten minutes or so later, after bailiff was in and out and had spoken to JM, JSS called her bluff by calling in the jury. Literally one minute after the jury was called the goddess came scurrying in.

Someone else speculated the hissy fit might have been because she expected JW to do the cross and wasn't told Nurms would be the one being demolished by DM.

Hope that helps. PS....BK doesn't put those pieces together, or mention the tweet. Not in her notes anyway.

I have a very difficult time with Paul Sanders' writing. He invents so much and passes it off as authoritative. How does he know what jurors are thinking? Give me a break! He cannot be in anyone else's head. And then there are the frou frou filler descriptions that don't describe what is actually there but something he imagines; and they are so syrupy and awkward. What the heck is an "aroma of manipulation"? That doesn't even make any sense: there are times I just want to barf.

I think the 13th Juror is an interesting concept, it's just that the execution is execrable.

Refreshing to read an unvarnished critical view of Sanders. :)

Somebody referenced your post on FB, Hope. I noticed it today. :)

Thank you, Bernina. :seeya: I am not currently subscribed to the site.

Nothing on her video blog, so I'll run it by her on the "Ask Beth" and see if she's aware of it.......and maybe she'll answer me. She HAS emailed back and forth with me when there was technical questions a few weeks back, so who knows?

Do you have the tweet, by chance? I scoured through different hastags used on twitter and couldn't find anything relevant.......

It's on the goddess' twitter page.

From memory, may not be 100%: "Great. Kirk's doing cross. Expect zero impeachment of Dr. Death-DeMarte."

Thanks for the explanation Hope4More! So, so glad JSS was going to start without her!! LOL!

By the way - if you see any news on the flooding, trees down here No. California - NONE of that is affecting me! So don't you all worry about me!! LOL! But did get LOTS of rain and wind last night. A few branches down here and there - good thing I moved my car from under the trees, and can park on the other side of my house with no trees around!

See you tomorrow!! Tired of reading on the computer - now time for the book I'm reading - Johnny Carson by his then lawyer Henry Bushkin!

@jodiannarias? or? I'm majorly blocked from the bulk of them, don't know why cause I never responded to any of them, lol!

:floorlaugh: THAT is PRICELESS!!!! Someone should spoof a Master Card slogan with it!

I think it's gone! Unless I looked at the wrong twitter account.

ETA: "Great. Kirk is doing Dr. Death-Demarte's cross. We can expect zero impeachment. #jodiarias "

I think it was supposed to have originated on the #jodiannarias account, but I don't see it there.

Thanks for all the responses about the hissyfit! You are all so gracious.

The one piece of evidence that speaks loudest to me is the theft of his engagement ring. She stole the hope the promise literally and every other way possible. What arrogance entitlement depravity. She destroyed the hope and dreams of him and those who really loved him. She cant die soon enough and never suffer enough to atone for her murderess choices. I hope this is emphazied in
closing statements.

What speaks loudest to you?

Funny I thought that's what CMJA said about Juan, but now Nurmi uses the same method?

"She who tries to establish her point by much lying deserves the death penalty" I'mjazzed

What speaks loudest to me is the line under your name. I miss my Huckleberry.

Nore you might want to post it here:
http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?267311-Warning-ad-site-redirect/page7

People have been getting strange redirects lately, Dave is trying to find out why. If you can give specifics as to where you came from, what page you were on, or what the popup says, etc., that would be helpful, too.

Try clearing your browser history. That helped me.
