Geez...I cannot imagine that much snow! We were lucky, it got a little warmer here and we got rain instead. A lot of rain + a yard full of dirt from them darn mole HOLES = mud everywhere. Taking my dog out is not fun. I have to put a leash on her when she does her business and then clean her muddy paws off with lots of wet paper towels. Then I dry her off with a bath towel next and then dry her paws off again with the towel. It's takes forever. I wear boots which are also muddy, so I leave them on the porch.

I feel for you all that got so much snow. YoN had 4 feet? That's almost as tall as I am! I am 5' 2"....Sending warm hugs to you, YorN and Ricki :grouphug: And anyone else I missed.

Then you all will have another slushy mess when the snow melts...IF the snow melts.

BBM We live in the mountains, so we get more snow than the town, but my son's boss said he was lucky that he didn't come in
to work as the town was bad too.
I.Hate.Snow :(

In April/May, we have mud season here with all the rain, so I feel for you with your mud now.

Trial starts at 10 MST/12 EST

Wonder if Dr. Demarte is the next witness since Lawrence needs more time for the computer guy?

The ****** Arias Penalty Phase Retrial- Ohhhh Somebody Is Going To Hell Edition (filthy mouth Kelly)

Really, you don’t turn your phone off in court Cha Cha?

Thanks Yes or No. I always enjoy Paul Sanders. I am perplexed by the way he ended his column this time, by saying each jury was tense because each are left wondering about the marriage certificate and how does it fit? After all of yesterday's testimony, I honestly forgot about the marriage certificate and since Juan never brought it up again, I just don't think it even mattered to the jury. Hmmm. What do you think? I do like the fact that he thought one of the questions was from a Mormon. I have thought several questions were from the Mormon from the beginning and I think that doesn't bode well for the defense.

I Thought that Det Smith was interviewed by Nurmi last Wednesday morning before court. I was wrong and so maybe if the juror is still sick, Det Smith will be interviewed today. I hope Juan doesn't have to call his witnesses out of order. I read on the other thread of a rumor that Nurmi will have a rebuttal and bring in more witnesses. He is really wanting to fatten his paycheck isn't he? I think all of this has been for nothing. After yesterday, I don't think this jury likes this defense at all.

Dr. DeMarte will be powerful but don't you know Nurmi/Wilmott will attack her like never before?

Note: This is not Paul Sanders- the 13th Juror, but @lisawJ13, also a "13th juror" who I subscribe to (she covered the OP trial in depth and now she is covering missy's:jail: )

Wow Thanks so much for those links YoN! I got chills comparing JA's and TA's journals. They do NOT correlate in the least. Jodi's was definitely re-written after she murdered T.
She had roughly a month and a half before they even arrested her!
This entry where she claims her phone was STOLEN....not lost, as normal people would say! And we all think/know she DID play that sex recording back to TA, with plans to blackmail him  She is scary evil!

JA May22 (I think?)

I also had 1 or 2 recorded conversations that were equally as scandalous. I never did figure out how to play those back for him.

YesorNo, I can't imagine 4 feet of snow. How do you do it? I can't stand the 11 inches we have and I can't stand the cold. I live in New England and I just cannot get use to winter. It makes me feel so anxious. I need summer and heat and sun to feel really good. I am so much calmer in the warmer weather and feel so much more alive. I probably will never move south because I just can't leave my family. The older I get the more I hate this season, even though it can be very beautiful but that is if I can stay in and just look out the window, but that is not realistic. Looks like I might have to stay home again. We will see how the morning progresses. Most schools are close because of icy conditions. Our roads were never sanded and there are many windy hills in our area to travel to get to a main road.

The Bishop was being honest, to the best of his ability, because it was a long time ago and he didn't have records or documentation of any sort to help him remember. He was relying on what others told him. The marriage certificate showed maybe some of the time lines were different. That's what I was thinking.

I agree. In fact, it made him appear even more honest. :)

You'll just need to come to the coastal Texas area, although it's a breezy 47 degrees here and that is still too chilly for me!!

47 would feel so much better than the 14 degrees we have now. I prefer the mid 80's but we have a way to go to get to that temp. Sweater weather is OK but when you have to layer up and cover every inch of skin up, it sucks. My daughter took a trip to Texas a few years ago and also went to South Padre to visit a friend. She said it was very nice there.

Well I found the sidebar for today.. Is there a separate link ready for today's trial coverage? New here and still finding my way around. Hoping to follow Along with everyone and the tweets.

Wizzy, what city are you in? I was born and raised in Beaumont. I have family in Lumberton, LaBelle,
Houston, and Dallas. :). We have lived here almost 16 years.

Here is another link. "Resentencing phase" . But this one is best! :). Bernina has all the latest updates with help from others.

A: I am sorry. It's called "Retrial for sentencing phase"

Welcome!!
Link to Retrial thread.... it will close and get a new link. Check the last posts to find that link by LambChop:
http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sh...al-for-Sentencing-of-Jodi-Arias-Day-29/page56

If you go to the top of the page when in a thread, just above the first post is "thread tools". Click that to choose "subscribe", click again on next page, then it will take you back to the thread. This is how most of us mark the trials we are covering most often (like a favorites button)

After that, to find the last thread you viewed, click on Quick Links above the yellow banner, subscribed ...

This Sidebar thread has minimal chit chat during "live" proceedings, mainly a poster puts up the current tweets. Retrial is more in-depth with conversations and tweets.

Does that help?

Near Galveston now, my favorite is N Padre Island where we lived for 8/9 years. Our home is in the Texas Hill country.
