If CMJA is so totally" mentally ill", why didn't her attorneys step in when she decided to represent herself? Not just once, but TWICE.

If she is so nervous, why didn't it happen the first go round, why did she think she could represent herself, blah, blah, blah?????

She didn't have any problems with her 18 day testimony, or her allocution either last time, and she already HAD her so-called "mental evaluations" done.

Also had this hit me: DV and PTSD, Regardless of any meds she's taking, CMJA would have extreme reactions to JM's method of cross. CMJA has NOT been in the "Real World" to use any tools the docs may have suggested to her. Her "supposed" last situation where someone was yelling, scrambling her brain, making her fear for her life, was when TA "attacked" her and she murdered him.

Is CMJA's recovery for the first trial a MIRACLE? A psychological "break through"?

Whatever it is, I want the meds CMJA is taking, cause I still have startle reflexes, along with fight or flight, and if someone touches me w/o me knowing, I seriously jump. I still can't handle raised voices or yelling, regardless if they are done in fun or anger.

CMJA is so full of it!!!!! She doesn't have a clue what any of us go through with PTSD or surviving DV. I'd like to give her some PTSD, maybe some DV too.

It's AWESOME, Kensie!!! Kind of like being part alien, lol! It holds my foot real snug, and if it's too loose or too tight, I can just adjust the velcro. It's going to get some kind of workout, I spent this afternoon moving and putting up 13 panels for my round pen......and it's DONE!!!!! The BF wasn't feeling good, Evie had to work today, and tomorrow it might rain, so I got on it!
And, I'm probably going to pay for it tonight, ha, ha! It's actually my "good" foot that's talking to me right now but nothing a hot shower won't sooth.
It feels REALLY great to be able to move around and get stuff done!:happydance:

Added: those valve things on the side of the Air Cast are for pumping the air cushions inside full of air, man, this is sooooo cool!

BBM I was going to ask you what they were- looked to me like little vials (maybe for drugs for pain :waitasec: or maybe for perfume for smelly feet :floorlaugh:)

BBM I logged on to post this article from Christine that explains missy's:jail: "nervous" very well and very logically, IMO:

Jodi Arias trial secrets: Judge exposes manipulator in released transcripts

"...This occurred when transcripts showed Judge Stephens acknowledges the “manipulations” that happen anytime the convicted killer enters a room.

It is now a public record that even Judge Stephens feels manipulated by the killer. This is the real reason Jodi didn’t want this information out there, and the real secret she was trying to hide for as long as she could...

...The convicted killer is doing everything she can to delay the inevitable. Because she doesn't have evidence and the truth on her side, her delays are executed through manipulation tactics...
Jodi will claim that her manipulations are being managed to ensure she has a fair trial. The only problem is that with every secret she tries to cover, with every lie that she tells, and with every manipulation stunt that she pulls, there is a family being victimized all over again. And now we know, this has not gone unnoticed by the judge. That’s the latest secret in the Jodi Arias trial...."

More and more as this trial continues, I see what a great, intelligent prosecutor JM really is. I have never seen anything like him before. I'm amazed.
Just look at these statements from JM, that Christine pointed out in her article, from the closed in chambers meeting- he grasps things and puts them in the plain truth of the matter, IMO.

"...from an estoppel point of view, it just seems that you can’t have it one way and then want it the other way also...."

“Is the defendant indicating that she is going to be untruthful on the witness stand depending on the composition of the courtroom? That causes me concern because the truth is whatever it is irrespective of who is in the courtroom and I believe that’s what the defendant is indicating; that depending on the composition, she would change her answers.”

(had to look up "estoppel" 'cause I'm not as intelligent as JM :blushing:

Estoppel Legal Definition:

"A rule of law that when person A, by act or words, gives person B reason to believe a certain set of facts upon which person B takes action, person A cannot later, to his (or her) benefit, deny those facts or say that his (or her) earlier act was improper."
"
"A man shall not be allowed to blow hot and cold - to affirm at one time and deny at another - making a claim on those to whom he has deluded to their disadvantage, and founding that claim on the very matters of the delusion."

"... a rule of evidence which precludes a person from denying the truth of some statement previously made by himself".

http://www.duhaime.org/LegalDictionary/E/Estoppel.aspx )

JM uses the "Sword of Truth" to rip away all the lies:

It looks like a dragon. I just googled ZAP! and it was listed under images. :floorlaugh:

Not much gets past Martinez, that is certain. He's so smart that sometimes I think the judge is lucky to have him in the court room!

I spent (entirely too much time) today reviewing the latest secret in-chambers transcript and also the end of the secret testimony, when the COA decision reached the courtroom, halting the secret testimony. It was quite interesting to see both of those at the same time.

I respect this judge, but I think she got spooked and made a mistake. Also, Juan had to explain the meaning of the COA decision to her at first. Nurmi was trying to interpret it as something it clearly was not (as usual). Then Nurmi claimed that the COA was staying the trial: not the secret testimony, but the trial!

I wonder what JM is like outside of the courtroom???
His girlfriend, Trini/Trina? is also a prosecutor.
Do they "yes or no" each other? :floorlaugh:

That is funny...but really, I can't imagine what life has been like for that guy since the beginning of this trial. It must be exhausting.

Does anyone remember the Glen Campbell song that I posted some months ago- I'm Not Gonna Miss You?
It's been nominated for an Oscar:

Now afflicted with Alzheimer’s, Glen Campbell’s Oscar nod for original song caps his career

"...Now 78 and in the late stages of the disease, Campbell’s wife will attend Sunday’s Academy Awards in his stead. Tim McGraw is set to perform Campbell’s nominated song, “I’m Not Gonna Miss You,” which won a Grammy Award earlier this month..."

How sad, I always loved him. Especially "By The Time I Get To Phoenix" I first heard that in the 8th grade and completely fell in love with it, one of the most beautiful songs in the world .....

Bernina Cool looking cast! Glad to hear you can still get around with it on!

Thought that was REALLY great!:loveyou:

Wow! I did not see this post at all. Interesting for sure! Thanks for reposting it Bernina, otherwise I would have missed it for sure.

I also want to comment on your cast. It's like nothing I've ever seen. It looks like what Jane said, something out of Star Wars. It has to be more comfortable than a plaster cast. You better quit working so hard though, because you're putting all your weight on your good foot and you're gonna wind up with NO good feet at all...I do wish I had your energy. I could use it.
