Hello everyone. Just wanted to wish everyone a great day.

Im finally realizing the LWOP sentence is really the best thing that could have happened so its a blessing in disguise. Less attention for the murderer.

I've never been a fan of JSS actions in the courtroom but I do like her as a person and I think she will do the right thing at sentencing time.

I hope JA doesnt try to keep delaying her sentencing by faking more tantrums. If JA does try to pull more of that I hope they force her to finish setencing phase first. Drag her in on a gurney if they need to.

As far as all the J17 hoopla it is pretty obvious she just wants more attention. It was starting to die down and she herself is bringing more attention to herself.
That pretty much proves she has not been sincere.

The good news is the LWOP is probably the better outcome in the long run. It will help limit future attention JA will receive.
We all just want JA to go away and fade away. LWOP will help accomplish that.
 
Oh meant to add about the Durst new charges. I think that maybe the new case I start to follow here on WS.

I believe it was here where we began talking about the HBO special 6 part series. I never thought he could be charged again for 1 of the murders. I knew he only got off on 1 of the murders but never expected this.

I taped #6 and havent seen it yet but saw the clip where he admitted he killed all 3 people. Wow.

I do think he may get convicted now. The letter writing does look identical. Take a look at the "S" at the very end. He makes a small hook at the top of the "S". Both notes have the same "S".

I think a great tactic for the prosecution would be to just show it to the jury and tell them to just ignore any of the handwriting experts and look at that "S" to see if they think the same person wrote both. Oh and of course the mispelled word. That locks it.

Time to pay the pauper. He was arrested carrying a gun. They say he was trying to go to Cuba. He really is twisted person and he doesnt show remorse either. Its like he doesnt have a conciounce either.

In one of the other parts the lawyer warned him about the mic being on at all times.
What a fool. I think he would have killed again if he got backed in a corner. He didnt care about people.

I feel sorry for his 1st wife and the 2 other victims. They never had a chance.
The reason he sent the note about the body being in California is I think he was watching the news and he knew LE did not find her yet. He couldnt wait so he let them know where a body was so they would find her.

If anyone gets a chance to watch all 6 episodes, it is really good. I have 2 more to go myself. The documentaries were done really well. They had lots of good clips from way back then and it was very well done.

Ive always been a fan of documentaries when they are done well like this one. Its amazing new charges came about from it.

Whoa, after all the latest goings on with this trial, I am just speechless!

First, we have a stealth juror, then turns out we have a "stealth" bailiff.

I stayed up Sunday night and went to 12 News online and watched their live streaming news and J17. OMG, I was so disgusted, well, I really can't adequately describe how disgusted I felt. That sent me on a search of twitter and I just read and read. Of course, that lead me to read the other thread, the long one. Which took all day yesterday into the night.

So, I guess I am no longer speechless, ha ha, I found something to express.

I wish the guy interviewing her would have been *able* to tell juror 17 that most of the journals were rewrites! And that Jodi made sure to tell Flores exactly were to look for them. She told him (paraphrasing) she had "conveniently" put her journals from the time she moved to Arizona until she moved back to Ca. in her fireproof safe....

I cooked corned beef and cabbage last week, but I cook it to death and let the cabbage fall apart, since hubby doesn't much like the cabbage part. Added lots of weird veggies (rutabaga, turnip, parsimmon, sweet potato, red potatoes, carrots, onions) and ate, ate, ate. Then the next day I re-boiled everything down to even "mushier with a few chunks", kind of a soup. And finally, I boiled it again for a third day and added navy beans --- yummy. Froze two large containers, gave another to my son, and today I am slurping down a big bowl. (Have to pick my days that I don't have to go away :giggle: )

I hope to make a Shepherd's Pie today. I haven't made one before, so I hope it turns out well. Sounds really easy.

Nope, the jail has a disciplinary board that looks at any infractions against the rules. CMJA has to comply with all the rules just as any other inmate does. She is basically "property of the County/State" and if she does anything that breaks the law, the jail can also be held accountable (like talking to the under age kids).
She is really going to have issues at Perryville. CMJA just doesn't think the rules apply to her, as if they're only "suggestions".
