Daisy, the worst part about breaking a bone is the inflammation from soft tissue swelling. It hurts like hell. Bones don't have nerves, but everything around them does, causing the pain sensation. Hope you can ice it as best you can. Make sure you work your fingers too as they may swell.

I am just so sorry for your pain. I bet the hedge looks great.

Nore, I am so sorry about your puppy. I know you have done everything earthly possible to help Buffy. Please take good care of you. Xo

Happy Birthday to my fellow Aries! Hope you all have had or will have wonderful birthday celebrations!

I am going to need some serious advice from my friends here, as I know you will be honest and kind. I will post in the am and if you all would weigh in, and give me your thoughts straight up, I would really appreciate it. Xo

shoot Daisy....hope the pain subsides eventually for you. Make sure the Doc checks to be sure things are sitting right because it almost sounds like too much pain like something may not be sitting right.

I've had to demand Xrays and stuff sometimes just to make sure the doctors really check out the bones and stuff.

thanks, hatfield. they gave me a dvd but haven't looked at it yet. one good thing is i've lost the fear of falling off the toilet with the raised seat someone brought over. now i know what to hold on to. the first 3-4 days i was so scared to wee wee and did fall halfway and believe me it was painful. gonna buy a seat tomorrow for the shower, but still want someone near by. i have no insurance.

I am going to lose my dog Buffy.
I am sick over this . trying to keep busy.
My Blessed FurBaBY....I cry
PS. Amy will get my two balloons for
launching when the sentence comes down.
One for good riddance Jodi
One for Travis . Now he is free.

When I realized I had to euthanize Huck last October, my wonderful veterinarian reminded me that there are three stages of grief when it comes to having to euthanize our canine loved ones: before, during, and after. In hindsight, I honestly think that before was the worst, though I am still grieving and probably always will. God bless you!

You're going to lose Buffy ? Oh no. I'm so sorry, Nore. (((hug)))

You must get insurance somehow. Enlist family/friends to help figure it out.

And this one for all of you especially for those experiencing pain & sadness.

This is so hilarious, I love it! :floorlaugh: :happydance: And the music, love that too. :happydance: And those shoes, oh those shoes. :floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

YESorNO, the 1970s were just a fashion tragedy, what can I say? Polyester everything, incredibly clunky shoes, really bad hair. But I still play disco music on my Walkman (shows how old school I am...I walk into the gym with my CD in my Walkman in my horrendous black fanny pack; everyone finds me quaint...lol).

Hehe, love those clunky shoes, those remind me of John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever. Do you remember Kork Ease ? I had a pair way back then, then rediscovered them a few years ago. Yes, they're still around, and quite comfy I might add. :giggle: And still love disco music too. :happydance:

RIP :candle:

I remember him, but didn't realize he was Juliette's father. Amazing how she looks just like him. I'm so sorry about his passing though. :(

BBM Fanny pack :floorlaugh:

I use to wear one, but now I can't find one to fit around my so-called waist :hilarious:

The 70's clothes were no worse than those pants that hang low on the butt and show the underwear.

HaHa, fanny packs:floorlaugh: Hey, I still see people wearing them, but I think they're incredibly annoying and bothersome.
And the pants that hang down showing people's underwear (or worse  ), and with the crotch all the way down to the knees to where they can hardly walk, they have no idea how ridiculous they look :giggle: ... hey, YorN, that's worse than anything from the 70's, don'tcha think?

feeling awful. woke up crying not sure how i will endure it all. hydrodocone helps but added a xanax every now and then. doc appt. tues. for those of you wishing to visit and bring me cookies, puddings, etc., cancel your plans - haven't had a shower since last sat. gross! but finally brushed my teeth today. will have a bath tomorrow!

Oh daisy, I'm so sorry you're having such a rough time, wish I was there to help. (((hugs)))

BBM Wasn't that the 80's?

I use to cut them out of my clothes.

Those big shoulder pads? Yeah, I cut them out too, didn't really care to go around looking like a miniature linebacker :giggle:

I loved disco, still do. I graduated HS in 1974 and we did not know any better. Looking back I think WTH?! Tragedy by Bee Gees:

When DD was in preschool, one day the head teacher comes in and announces to the class, "I'm a little hoarse today". A little boy responded, "I'm a little cow!". LOL!!!!!

You guys have been so busy that I'm way behind, tired and trying to catch up. But LinasK this is just hilarious... :hilarious: :floorlaugh:
