My cousin, who was pregnant, had a husband who was a chicken sexer at a huge farm in central Indiana. She had 24/7 nausea, and he would have to run to the shower when he got home, before the chicken smell got to her. He said the male chickens went right into a semi truck, thousands of them, piled on on top of another, to a fertilizer
plant.

Good Morning Sidebar Friends !
:loveyou:
On my second cuppa CFON. Such a beautiful sunshiny day here in the high desert, I'm going out doors to play.
There is no part of a chicken that doesn't smell.
HUGS!!!!

Thank you for posting this Bernina. When the PI began opining that 281129 didn't get a fair trial (1:42) I cut him off.

Wouldn't mind learning some dirt or juicy gossip about the inmate's life in Perryville. Something will happen one of these days that will make the news, don't cha know?

This Bond guy is really working it, isn't he? Now I think that the so-called broken relationship between K. Nurmi and his convicted client was a planned farce strictly to create an appeal issue. Here Bond elaborates on it, then Nurmi spoke it out loud in court on the day she was sentenced. What will we see next, billboards? So obvious what's going on , IMO.

I checked out his areas of practice. Looks like he defends everything from murder to slips and falls.
Reminds me of Slippin Jimmy......LOL!!!!!!! (sorry, that's for "Better Call Saul" fans.)

Slippin' Jimmy, LOL! Hey, wonder if his law office is in the back store room of a nail salon. :giggle:

As a matter of a fact it is and he gets all the cucumber water (after hours) that he can drink. He also does pedi's in his spare time.

The link worked fine for me, cj. That made me cry, it was so sweet! I felt bad that the guy had to leave him again, though. The gorilla was so happy to see his "dad" again! Animals are amazing.

That was his take BEFORE 281129 made that damning statement before JSS sentenced her. Wonder what he thinks now?

Good Morning all. CJ, thanks for the funnies. I needed a good laugh.

Spellbound, I always miss Yes/No. She has been so good to us.

I sure wish Iliketobendpages would come back and give us 'today in history' updates. I really enjoyed them.

Gotta get back to the work grind!!!

Have a good day!!!

Hey everyone, Good morning :-) Hubby and I loved the name Oscar, we had that name picked way before we got him, but hubby is having a very hard time saying Oscar, it just keeps coming out Otis, which is our daughter's pet’s name, and he died December 2014 :( so we decided to change it. I sent out a text to the family about the name Buttercup, they all responded with that's a girl’s name LOL soooo we decided to go with Benji. He's doing really well, learning the word NO! Benji and Molly play A LOT, they sleep together, which is funny because they try to fit on Molly’s little beds, guess I’m going to have to make some bigger beds. I do wonder how big Benji will get, I think he’s gotten a little taller since I brought him. There used to be some space between Banji’s back and the bottom of Molly’s tummy, but no more. He can’t walk under her any more, he tries but he just knocks her over. I’m going to try to do the picture again :/

Appellate? There is no mention of that. ? Is Bond smoking something?

I saw that too.
And his list of dismissals or reduced sentences aren't that impressive. He's been doing this since 1985. Don't even know why he mentions Elizabeth Johnson/Baby Gabriel because he withdrew from the case.
......and he has a Yahoo email addy............seriously? danraynak@yahoo.com He can't even have a registered domain and website? Geesh, Go Daddy is right there in Scottsdale. I still pay annually for my domain/website with them and I took my website down years ago (don't know if I'll want to put another one up in the future) but it's not expensive at all.

Like it or not, when you look at a web site, your mind registers how "professional" the layout is, ease of access, and if it's kept updated. I got a 404 error on one hyperlink and quit. It's layout is a common template. He didn't even pony up to have a logo created. And his "contact me" page? Whatever. Not impressed with him just by looking at his website. Pffffftttttt.

Slippin' Jimmy, LOL! Hey, wonder if his law office is in the back store room of a nail salon. :giggle:

First you have a client that files for self representation twice. Then she pleads to have Nurmi kept on the case, as well as her mom. Then you have her crazy stories that keep changing. The case drags on for 7 years, with a lot of garbage type motions. The client can't prevent herself from seeking the media or opening her mouth. Then the client wants to juggle self defense, domestic violence, and mental illness.

Nurmi did what he could with what he got to work with. 281129 had 2 lawyers. Wilmont could have stepped it up, she TEACHES trial lawyers, FGS. And then you have the $3.4 mill and counting defense cost. "Experts" from out of State.
And if these un-named "witnesses" where so sold on 281129's innocence, why didn't they show their face on the stand and put their money where their mouth was? Because they were lying or repeating something 281129 told them and it would fall apart on cross.
Old Marc M was so afraid, he puts forth an affidavit, just words on a piece of paper, under witness #1. And even then, it was brought in through 3rd parties, the "experts". How do you cross examine that? Mom Arias didn't want her words with Flores from Yreka coming back to slap her on the head. THAT'S why SHE never to the stand. Patty? Another hot mess. Daryl B?

I kinda think between Matt and Bobby, if they would have testified, it would have sunk 281129's ship. It was old history, probably not too relevant because of the time frame, but it wouldn't surprise me one bit if 281129's behavior was similar to what she put Travis through. Showing a pattern? Probably, but the prosecution wouldn't need it. 281129 killed Travis, DNA, photos, gun, road trip, etc.........and she put herself there.

Whoever handles her appeal is just going to walk away with a pocket full of cash.

Heck NO! Do well text on my cell! LOL

Must be something I'm doing wrong on my end, or maybe the way my PC is setup?

So many problems using iPad on this site today.

Good morning, everyone. Have to be away today, so I may not be back until this evening.

Coffee junkie, thanks for the jokes .... I miss Y/N!

You're welcome. I am by no means as good as Y/N and her post, but I can do some jokes a few times a week till she comes back...then it's her show. ;)

OH WOW! That video on the Gorilla Reunion is so sweet! I watched it twice! Thanks!

Bernina I can't wait to see your baby swan!!!!!!!

I guess the tablet is trying to tell me something today. It just does not want to open WS, or it hangs forever and then partially opens, or won't let me post, or ..... arrrgh, it is just an annoying mess. I will try tomorrow. FWIW, maybe it is our internet service, since it is VERY windy here the past few days.

Have a nice evening (or day or whatever your time is) everyone! :seeya:

Cross your fingers, Grammie, if it happens, it'll be a miracle! LOL! But momma swan is setting too, so just maybe one will hatch!

So "Benji" it is. Good Name. LOL

Here is a tip I learned on a dog training video I once saw. For naming mainly dogs, they said it is good to try to make a 2 syllable name. The reason that they gave is if only 1 syllable, then sometimes other words RHYME with the dogs name and sometimes they think you are calling them when saying the other word that is rhyming with it.

With 2 syllables it is less likely to happen and the dogs will learn their name much quicker.

They said 3 syllables is sometimes too confusing. It can work as they get used to it but they just did not recommend it. They recommended sticking to 2 syllables if you have the opportunity to name your dog. They even mentioned that if you do go with 3, you will find that you will end up shortening it yourself anyway to 2 syllables. They said 3 syllables is sometimes hard on the adults and we get lazy and like to shorten it ourselves.

Kind of like if we named our pet with these 3 syllables...."SugarPie"......that over time, we would end up just calling it "Sugar".

I found this naming tip very helpful for me and I always try to follow the 2 syllable rule if I can.

Another tip that I learned myself by trial and error is like you just mentioned. I named my recent dog too similar to my passed dog. I sometimes have to correct myself even after all these years because I find I call him by my passed dog's name because it is way too similar. So I wont make that mistake in the future. I will always make a new new quite different than any passed pet I had before.

Anyway, just wanted to share the tips I learned and dont feel bad if you already made some of your pet names against these tip rules because we all do it unless we were told before, we had no way to know. Our dogs know we love them and we can get them to come no matter what we call them.

I like joking with my dog and sometimes I will call him a name that isnt even his name to be funny. It gets a good laugh from me and my wife when we do that. LOL
