Having a great day. Wish the weekend would not end. It's gorgeous out. We went out to breakfast with Mom and one of my daughters and of course the hubby. Before breakfast my oldest stopped by with my grand daughter to drop off a gift and wish me a Happy Mothers day. Been relaxing most of the afternoon but now I am cooking because another daughter is coming with her boyfriend and my other 2 grand kids. Just one daughter I won't see today. She has to work a 12 hour shift tonight and she worked last night. She is a nurse. Although I wish I could see her, I completely understand.

What a wonderful day for you, Ricki! Sounds so nice.

Just found out that the lady that won HGTV dream home for 2015 is from the city where I work.

Beautiful flowers, Niner!

Yes they are! Someone posted this on Facebook, so I "stole" it! :giggle:
It's now becoming a habit I stop by here every morning and then before I log off my computer to stop by here! :pcguru:

Signing off for the night...

Good. night, Niner. I hope you had a lovely day.

Amen to that, Ricki!

What a lovely lady!

My mother as a college co-ed...she actually wasn't born with angel wings :))) but probably has them now. RIP, Mom...sending love and hugs.

My Mom was lovely and I miss her very much!

Your Mother is just as lovely as you are :) and I am sure you miss her as much as I miss mine! (((((Hugs))))

We all miss our Mother's that have passed...they are angels watching over us...

One more song from Madama Butterfly:

Madame Butterfly by Puccini - Love Duet (Opera Movie, 1995 - subtitled)

Here's the whole 1995 movie with subtitles if anyone is interested:

Thanks YorN, beautiful. I've never seen the opera, but I do enjoy listening to some of the music now and again. This is one of my favorites:

And another sung by Maria Callas, by Puccini. I really love this one. She died so young, how tragic. She lost 80 pounds because she was told she was too fat. Her weight loss weakened her diaphragm and affected her singing, and eventually her health leading to an early death... a heart attack, at such a young age. All just to become this thin person they wanted her to be. Why are these people so shallow, where do they come from? And why do beautiful people like Maria listen to these destructive, evil people ? Why does anyone? It's just disgusting and tragic. Just like Karen Carpenter, who had one of the most beautiful voices on the planet. It's just horrible. :(

Someone posted a news article on Casey Anthony in that forum. Apparently she is living in West Palm beach and there is a photo of her. It sure looks like her unless she has a twin or a double in this world.

Lots of severe weather in my area, that is Texas, and on up into the Great Lakes area, including Tornadoes. Safekeeping everyone.

HaHa, that's her alright. WTH is the baby killer doing with that old dude... well, is that a dude? :waitasec: Not sure, but that aside, I still can't believe that someone hasn't .... Nah, I won't say it, that sad sack, child killer, poor excuse for a human being isn't worth it. Will just patiently wait for Karma to take it's course.

I had to search "nutri-bullet" as I had never heard about it. Interesting!

This one?

"...According to state records, the woman who was found not guilty of killing her two-year-old child obtained a new driver’s license recently in which she declared that her permanent address is in a 2,000-square-foot house on Cortez Road, in the Toledo neighborhood on the south side of West Palm Beach...."

According to the article, she was at a volunteers’ table at the Women for Women 5K , so that women she was sitting with was a volunteer, I guess?

I could have went forever without seeing a picture of 'IT'. I was hoping she was an outcast like OJ is!

I downloaded the book "Behind the Words: A Logical and Satirical Guide to the Impossible Defense of Jodi Arias", yesterday. Have not read it yet.

They are 2 of these books by same author. Both Kindle Unlimited. :)
