I have seen a handful of posts where people have talked about e-cigs...the comments were all favorable. I really, really (like ten years ago) need to stop smoking and this may be the answer. I have been smoking forty something years! And what I don't want to lose is the act of smoking! Any suggestions would be appreciated. The starter kits can be kind of pricey online so I would love other peoples opinions. Also does smoking ultra lights mean you would you use the lowest amount of nicotine? TYIA

Not sure about the ultra lights and lower nicotine. There is another device available here in my Country (drug stores). It is a smaller device than the E ciggy. You load nicotine cartridges in it. I wish i knew the name/price but perhaps you can inquire at your local drug store? Also do you have stop smoking clinics/support groups in your area? I tried Champix when it first hit the market. Horrid experience with it. If u are thinking about that drug research it first and make sure those living with you are aware of the side effects. When i had them I was totally unaware. I just zoned out. Not a Jodie fog lol. It was for realz :what:

Nicorette? I dunno where you are but sounds like what you were describing.

A lot of my friends stopped using champix but heard there were some dodgy side effects

I have heard a lot of bad things about the drug...Chantix? Is that the name? LOL I have enough problems without having vivid nightmares!

I don't think the patch would work....I need to something that allows you to replicate the act of smoking kwim? Lighting up, inhale, exhale.

my dad smoke for 50+ years i think and he stopped for a while on the patch,i was pretty amazed.

I stopped cold turkey 11 years ago. How? I had bronchitis. I woke up at 5am could breathe in but not out, going numb in arms, ready to pass out.I yelled for husband to bring inhaler Dr. had given me. It was so horrible I never picked up another one. Be on breathing treatments the rest of my life.COPD asthma. Now I'm not joking try a pacifier when at home. My Dr. gave me Nicotrol,(plastic cigarette). it worked, COPD never goes away. I found I missed having something in my mouth. :seeya:

anymore". I'm not very computer savvy, nor am I clever, or have
too much imagination as some of the people on this forum (I laugh my azz off
everyday-LOL).
My 22 yr. old son cannot believe that I'm involved with another trial, as the
trial in Florida just decimated me for weeks. I tried to explain that I need
justice for Travis in order for me to believe that our justice system works. I
just about lost my belief in it with the verdict in Florida so many years ago.
This will probably be the longest post you'll see from me, but I'm here everyday- reading, crying for Travis and his family, and rooting for our
prosecutor, Mr. Martinez.
I'm proud to be part of this great and good forum with such clever people.

(Hope this comes out OK)

I have been "vaping" for many years now. If you're going to do it, do it right because the cheap (and not so cheap) e-cigs out there will often leave you discourage & disappointed. I've spent hundreds of dollars trying all different brands etc. The one I've finally stuck with the past 2 yrs is called the "Go-Go."

The nicotine juice is also very important for satisfaction as well. I ALWAYS buy ejuice called "Cinna-bomb" (Google these things and you should have no trouble finding them).

Nope, we didn't even bring a gun - On a camping trip! :eek: We are just crazy like that, no gas cans, or guns! :crazy:
