Ummmm - don't mean to be Miss Goody Two Shoes here...but...ummm - since we haven't even gotten back our booze and treat privileges from the convent yet.....

Does anyone else beside me think that maybe we could avoid the death wishes for ...her? Just a suggestion...cause angry nuns kinda scare me...:what:

I whole heartly agree. This is our last chance to behave. If our beloved sidebar goes poof we will go poof too. Don't want that to happen.

One more Benbella fun fact... in the "new releases" section, Baez's book is surrounded by books titled "Tell the Truth - Honesty is your most powerful marketing tool", "Heart-Attack Proof", and "Traction".. and even by their standards (?), it's not a "best seller". Something tells me these aren't on Baez's "reading list".

I noticed that under "Our Authors" on the Benbella site Jose is not listed, but then neither is Rielle Hunter. So it makes me wonder, do you have to have more than one book published by Benbella to be listed on that list OR do you have to have at least one successful book published by Benbella to be on that list?!?

Angry nuns are scary! Scarier than CLOWNS. And clowns are pretty darn scary. So I hear ya.

Anyway, if KC ends up locked behind bars for a VERY long time, I will finally be able to let it go and move on. But not until then. And I will never, ever forget Caylee. Or the great peeps at Websleuths! I mean that, sincerely.

Very strange, Peter Golenbock is not listed either. Maybe Benbella is through with them! We can only hope :floorlaugh:

They tried to grab the gold ring at the expense of their reputation. I will never look at a book of theirs in a good light again. I hope they think it was worth it. They will always be Baez's publisher. It's a stink almost as bad as the smell of a decomposing Caylee in the back of that car.

JMO, neither Golenbock or Benbella realized what they were getting into. If they had taken any time to do research, they wouldn't have touched that book with a ten foot pole. Just as the big name publishers stayed away from it. The only good thing to come of it is, perhaps, the media is on to the bad vibes and karma that come when anyone gets involved with Baez or casey. :great:

Only one more dose of silliness today and then I'm outta here, I promise!

:pinocchio: The 'new' spin is that Pete wrote the book from JB notes - so they can't list JB as an author and spin that story!! LMAO :floorlaugh:

I'm wondering how much affect WE (supporters of the truth) had on the book tanking. There aren't that many of us, compared to those who did not follow closely this case progression. I was recently hospitalized and for four days, did not hear any of their names. I had a TV, but there was no mention. I did not have computer access and it did me a lot of good to be away from this whole horrible tragic string of events. So, as I ponder the fate of the fictional work of Baez, the only thing that comes to mind is a song from the show "Chicago". "He Had It Comin'". Whether it was Karma or all of us who yearned for justice, the song is perfect. If I was clever, I'd have a video of the song to entertain you. Alas, I don't know how to do it.

Jose has to buy back three books a day to keep his sales rank bottom bumping at around #5000 ...c'mon Jose - let's see you up it to five or more - and quit faking with the cheap kindles.....

Jose is also "holding" at Barnes and Noble at hardcover rank of #15714 and a whoops in the kindle rank at #4556.....oh my!

In the ever bouncing rankings, JB's "book" is on its way back down.

Amazon Best Sellers Rank: #5,375 in Books (See Top 100 in Books)
#21 in Books > Law > Criminal Law
#36 in Books > Biographies & Memoirs > True Accounts > Murder & Mayhem

Thank you Redkatrampant. It was good to see the song performed again. I didn't know it had another name! Glad you did or we never would have found it.

Ahem....just popped in while I was having a cup of joe this afternoon and wanted to let you know that novelrank is running behind the amazon.com site....

Heh heh - oh hi Jose!... :seeya: ....Despite his two "buys" today - he has slipped down to:
Sales Rank: #6161
Crim Law: # 26

Murder/Mayhem: #39

I know this is an old one but I had never seen it until yesterday. I guess Jose should have granted an interview with "his friend" Jane VM and then she might have gone a little easier on him. I also think that Jose should be reminded of what he said after he read Ashton's book. "When I decide to tell my story, you can be certain I will not be personally attacking Mr. Ashton." This part can be found at 14:37 in the following link.
