I caught a bit of the DT spewing after the verdict. I could have sworn I heard something to the effect (not sure who was talking as I was in the car listening) that if the jury received the same jury instructions as the jury in the Casey Anthony case they wouldn't have convicted. Interesting.

Re: Drew Petersen...Finally! A jury that believes in justice. Hope this wipes the smirk off Petersen's face. If he had been acquitted, I think I would have lost my mind. What's left of it!

As I sit here reflecting on Drew Peterson's guilt I have to thank a sweet little murdered Caylee at the hands of FCA. We were taught that there are some devious underhanded lawyers out there that will blame everyone and anyone and trash the victim and their family just to protect a cold blooded killer. Think about it. So many people read every word of every document and watched the video's and made up there own mind's about FCA's guilt way before the trial ever happened. We knew every single lie that came out of JB's mouth not to mention others as well. How does this happen? Why is this allowed? My one and only regret is that Caylee never had justice served to her and there is absolutely nothing anyone of us can do about it. How so, so sad.

Yes, me too. I think both my heart and brain would have shattered. Such a relief to see Lady Justice rising....

Oh Dear God in heaven...certainly there couldn't of been another jury as stupid as them could there?

While it's no consolation - I think after that (imho) travesty committed by the Pinellas 12, the rest of the country kinda sat up and noticed - and maybe, just maybe, began to embrace their personal/moral/citizenship responsibilities (at least those folks who have them at all) and stopped sloughing it off. I hope so. And I think that would be a fitting tribute for Caylee.

HIP HIP HOORAY!
Drew Peterson GUILTY!!!

Now we get to listen to the defense whine about how unfair of a trial he got, hearsay blah, blah and blah.

I have to go find my itty bitty tissue to wipe my non-exsistent tears.

:seeya: Been trying to call you sweet lady! :)

LG, my heart hasn't mended either and I don't think it ever will. I look at her sweet little face and just want to cry (and I have many times) at the injustice. It was just so wrong on so, so many levels.

They probably were given the same instructions. The difference is the P12 didnt listen or try to understand them.

Im happy about the dp verdict but sad at the same time for the travesty we witnessed last year...just thinking...if only...:banghead:

My favorite quote of the day re: the Drew Peterson conviction came from Jane Velez Mitchell -

"Finally! A victory for common sense!"

They were starting to explain how wrong it all was and how Drew would appeal, when the crowd started booing them loudly and they had to wait to continue. No One wanted to hear any more lies about this callous murderer..

Alrighty you guys, way of topic here, before I read past page one on the Fifty Shades of Grey thread is Mr. Grey a vampire????

Page one? Here I thought you would be all :blushing: if we even asked you how you were doing with the book....:floorlaugh:

I'm listening to the CD's, I'm at the part right now where he wants to fly in his helicopter to Seatle, and I'm thinking from the different things he's saying he's a vampire. I want to read on the thread here, but before I go there I'd like to find out if he's a vampire. Holy moly are you saying it's going to be more, LOL hmm how to say it????

OOOOOk never mind, they just took a ride in the elevator. I think I know where this
is going :-)

With all due respect, if he'd wanted to get the truth out, he would have provided a timeline of events consistent with the known and undisputed evidence.

I still don't understand why any one wants to read it unless it is the looking at a train wreck theory. Just going on to Amazon and reading the first few pages should be enough to tell anyone it is "carp". It's not as if there are any gossipy or unknown details about FCA in it - the book can't even be called a kitchen sink variety - it is so chock full of inaccuracies that are way beyond just Jose's "point of view".

I just don't understand what people don't get about "documented evidence"! :banghead:

I wont even bother my library - they might have it but then again winter is coming perhaps a burn of some sort when Santa stops by

At our library you could place a hold on books that were at in other library's systems and they would be sent to yours. I hate to see tax dollars being wasted on this trash. Maybe some want to read it to see if what Jose wrote is what they've seen and heard about Casey. It's a shame they'd want to learn the truth from that piece of trash when there am so many places (Websleuthes? Acandyrose? their own research?) they could see the truth. OH well, at least they don't want to spend a dime on it. How can you write a review of a book you haven't read?

Really? Your county/city public library lends their books out to neighbouring counties/other city public libraries?
I know Transfers between Branches occurs within a counties/city's library system but I was not aware they shared books with other counties or cities. The post was dated July 2012

I am guessing the poster read the book in their own library system and got a temp library card, signed up online and wrote a review on my city's public library system

Think I could be one of the few just put the book done. Yeah its got all that but really is it actual literature? ?? I'm still amazed at all the journalist who thought it was all that and more. Itisbasically twightlight with sexton(no vampires---but a millionaire just ascreepy. :moo::what:
